Re: Ammo recommendations for .308 at 100-300 yards? 168 gr. FGMM is good stuff. Just tried some in my gun this weekend and am surprised w/ the results (was shooting SSA 175 gr. for a while). 175 gr. is great, but unless you're shooting past 400 yards then the results won't really be...
Re: How is a Rem 700 bolt handle attached... If it's brazed I wouldn't be worried too much about it. Granted it's not nearly as strong as a welded joint, but the tensile strength of brazed joints is up there as well.
Re: EOTech or Aimpoint? Both are great and you can't go wrong w/ either. I personally like the EOTech reticule over the Aimpoint. The battery life leaves a little something to be desired though.
Re: Where to buy TAD jackets AFAIK, only TAD sells genuine TAD gear. Any other "TAD" or TAD look alikes you find elsewhere are either cheap knock offs or attempted repro's
Re: Bolting a safe to the floor. Need advise I'd use a Hilti Drop in Anchor. 3/8" are pretty strong, we use em a lot for work. Though if you want something even more solid the 1/2" anchors work really good as well. The sell both short and deep anchors, the latter having more strength...
