Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
All the Academy stores I've been in from S TX to N LA have had 3-6 different brands of 22LR. All behind the counter of course, but in stock at every store I went in. Limit 2, 50 round boxes of course.
Just last week replaced the trigger on my Rem 700 AAC-SD with a new Timney 510 I believe it was. 1.5# pull, bought & tuned directly from Timney. Even got a Green Tootsie Pop with it. :) Loving the new trigger!!
I've got a SIII 8-32x56 MD mil/mil SFP, and couldn't be happier with the glass. Tracking is great so far also. Would definitely recommend the SIII for the price. Very happy with mine.
My 8 year old son killed his first deer this past season with a 300 BLK Handi Rifle. It's already threaded and he likes to practice shooting with the suppressor attached. (Currently not legal to hunt with suppressors here in LA, but it is in the works for this year).
I went with Ken Farrell 30 MOA steel base on my Savage 12LRP & TPS medium rings; same scope as you have (different reticle). Planning to eventually get some TPS low rings and try that. I have more than I would like between bell & barrell, and the barrell is huge on this 12LRP!
I recently purchased the SIII 8-32x56 and finally got to test drive it today. Glass is best I have looked through and clicks are very crisp. Very happy with my purchase! Would definitely get another if/when I need another optic.
