My friend has a Savage small shank 110 in 270. He wants to re-barrel to a 300 WM. Will the small shank 110 action work with 300WM. I know it would need a new bolt face and follower.
So far none of the posts are very helpful. Some ask why where we talking about this in church. It was part of a Christian based addiction recovery program I help out with. I am afraid that this guy has issues far beyond what we can help him with; I’m just trying to find out what we are dealing...
New guy at church claims to be a retired scout sniper with 235 kills. I think that is a bunch of crap. I know he is retired military and spent time in a VA hospital from a road side bomb, but 235 Kills, really? is there a way to see what his real service was?
Re: Expected Accuracy at 100 Yards? It takes a hi end .22, top shelf ammo, excellent technique, and perfect weather to consistently shoot 1" at 100. Every one on the internet claims to have a MOA at 100 .22, but I never see them at the range. In my experence .5 at 50 equals 1.5 at 100 with a...

Got my son a 243 for hunting White tail deer. I had some 85 grain Sierra spitzers that shoot well in the rifle. Anyone have experience with them on white tail? What are your bullet recommendations?
What is the difference between these rifles besides about $300? I am looking for a great shooting 22 with a really nice trigger. Nice trigger = light, crisp, no takeup, creep or overtavel. I looked at a 1416 in 17 cal (can't rememer the model number mayber 1517?) and the trigger had 0 takeup...
Re: Decent ($150-250) scope for a CZ 22LR 452? I have a burris fullfield II on my 452. IMHO is is the clearest of the low end scopes. Cabelas has rim fire scopes that look good in the store. Don't know how it would be in the field.
