    This dude is "Money"

Re: This dude is "Money" The fact that you have a degree, depending on what type it is, does show some insight into your character, to an employer. The converse is not necessarily detrimental though. Similarly, having a prior job is not a guarantee that a candidate is the best choice over a...

Hunting & Fishing Here they come! nationwide lead ban petition

Re: Here they come! nationwide lead ban petition 80,000 tons is billions of bullets shot at the range! That's pretty impressive. I am going to venture a guess and say the data they are presenting is heavily skewed in their favor. Common sense would lend it self to the other side of the...

You all have been bugging me long enough!

Re: You all have been bugging me long enough! I'd say you need to rig a string up to you trap to launch crossing shots. Clays traveling away from you are the easiest to hit, especially if you have them floating up into the air like that. At least you are swinging right to left when you take...

    Gunsmithing Threading a barrel?

Re: Threading a barrel? Removing the barrel is the easiest part, as it only requires hand tools. Get an action wrench, or borrow someones and you are set. When threading make sure you indicate off the bore and not the outside of the barrel as some are not concentric.

    Case Volume & Velocity

Re: Case Volume & Velocity There should not be a very substantial buildup in the case so your volume change is very small. However, decreasing the case volume and using the same powder charge will increase velocity. You have the same volume of gas created in a smaller space. That leads to...

Suppressors Acuracy and reliability between G17 and baretta 92

Re: Acuracy and reliability between G17 and baretta 92 I have both and while the 92 shoots better for me, the glock always goes bang. When the 92 gets dirty (few hundred rounds without cleaning) i start having failure to feeds. That may or may not be acceptable depending on your needs.

Gunsmithing Who has made a stock from scratch?

Re: Who has made a stock from scratch? I also went down that path once upon a time. It is not worth the time to make one from scratch. The woodworking tools, if you go that route, are expensive and necessary. I also made a fiberglass stock. Building up the stock requires many long hours...

    Gunsmithing Epoxy for Bedding

Re: Epoxy for Bedding That description of the epoxy does not narrow it down. There are many two part epoxies that are used. What you need to look for specifically is how much the product will shrink as it cures and what its compressive strength is. If you look at devcon's website, I would...
