I agree with you, the trapper is a really nice looking gun. However, you will probably be happier with the 44. I have a lever gun in 44 and one in 45-70, and I shoot the 44 more. I also have a 44 mag revolver, which helps the situation a bit.
This is the best out of the box rifle and it is competitive with a lot of custom builds. I sold mine about five years ago and I am now regretting it. I am thinking about buying another one. sigh...
Re: Remington XM2010 on the civilian market? Modern Pawn and Guns disclosed that they got it from Accusport. There is another one listed on GunsAmerica. They are starting to trickle out. This is awesome. Now, for the MSR.

Re: Thinking of picking up a MK25 thoughts You cant go wrong with a Sig. You may have a problem finding a holster for it. The rails are more significant than the other 226s. I bought mine for 875 about a month ago. You should have no problem finding one for under 1k.
