Suppressors I made myself a knife

Re: I made myself a knife Nice setup Stefan73. It shows how easy it is to forge blades. I might try to make my own blades from lawnmower blades or circular saw blades. They are an easy way of getting good grade steel. For those who want to make the handles, here are a few links...

Suppressors I made myself a knife

Re: I made myself a knife I would like to, but I just don't have the facilities to do it. Right now I can buy some quality blades for reasonable money. When I get a bigger place with a garage, then I might get into it. They are glued with a very strong two part epoxy glue. These type of...

Suppressors I made myself a knife

This is my first self made. It's a typical Scandinavian type for carving use. The sheath was not very successful. More knifes to follow.

Re: Sako 75 IV in a Manners MCS-T Thanks for the reply Pete. You're right about the rough finish being better in the wet. I'm going for the flecktarn camo anyway. Steelcomp, I'm nominating you for thread hijackers of the year.

Suppressors Steel for a general purpose hunting knife

I'm thinking of making a hunting knife that could also be used for woodwork. I would like to know if you have some recommendations for steel that would suit a gp hunting knife. The steel I'm considering is a Swedish steel called 12C27. I'm also considering this blade in Aus-8. Check...

    Sako 75 IV in a Manners MCS-T

Does anybody have any experience with this combo? I tried the Manners MCS-T stock the other day and I like the feel of it. It's got a short length of pull, palm swell and a high cheekpiece which would fit the 56mm scope I have on my Sako 75. The only problems I have with it is the rough...
