Re: Why are shooters saying AR style 308s hard to shot I'm probably a little picky about my brass as I mostly shoot bolt guns, but every AR10 gas gun I have had or been around has been tougher on brass than the bolt guns. Tends to leave more marks on the body and base of the case. Just my...
Re: Nightforce dilema for long range The right selection of scope depends on what your intended target will be. If you dont need to range,, I would recommend the SFP.
Re: Surgeon Actions/Rifles You will not go wrong with a Surgeon. I have 2 and am very happy with both of them. They are smooth and I would not hesitate to have another rifle build with them.
Re: 7mm RSAUM Just to update, I did some load development yesterday. My final loads working up yesterday were at 57.5 gr of RL17. I was getting about 3020 fps with no signs of pressure at all. There was still a reasonable amount of room left in the case also. It looks like from the trend...

Can ya'll give me some resources for aftermarket stainless steel barrels for a Remington 597, preferably that offers them threaded. I didn't turn up much with an internet search. Thanks.
I tried installing a Timney model 510 on a Surgeon 591 action with Badger M5 bottom metal and found out that when I tried to put it all together that the pin that the safety switch rotates on blocks the action from resting down on the stock. Has anyone else had this issue? I have never had...
