I love my Savage. I am by no means an expert, but you are right about the amount of fun on ranges out to 200 yards. And when 22 is available, it feels like its almost free!

I really like the idea. Having recently left IL for IN, I don't think I'll be eligible for something like this,,,hopefully. But legislation has long been a threat in IL. Thanks Magpul for standing with normal shooters.

She did fine. I make my living in racing, and haven't been a Danica fan. But, this was a solid performance. She ran up front, kept the car in position, and lost a few spots at the end instead of gaining some. Anyone who hasn't done that before hasn't competed in ANYTHING. Nice job Danica...

I know this is the DIY section, but I installed the Karsten piece, and couldn't be happier. They aren't that expensive either.

Re: 338 lapua bullet cast? I have a mold to play with 200gr in my SPS Tac 700, but haven't yet. From what I'm seeing, around 1800 fps is about the top for lead. Still, accuracy can be very good, and for hunting they seem to work well. But this is all just what I've read so far. Poke...
