Re: Drag on a 6.5 bullet? If you get to playing with it you will see the effect on the trajectory. Generally speaking the sleeker the bullet the higher the drag coefficient. This is easier on the laptop then the mobile.

Re: Drag Model Help Short answer is that G1 varies more with velocity (the higher the velocity the higher the BC) G7 more accurately reflects the the trajectory of bullets we typically use for long range shooting. What bullet you are using dictates what drag model you want to use.

Re: Ballistic calculators for PDA I don't know if you know this, but when you buy Loadbase you get two licenses. What this means is you can get 2 desktop programs, a desktop and mobile program or 2 mobile programs. So you actually get 2 programs for the price.

Re: Kestrel w/Atrag I have used Loadbase, Field Firing Solutions and Atrag (work) along with several other programs and if I was going to recommend one for a Mobile Application it would be Field Firing Solutions. Loadbase is probably one of the best for gun geeks as a Desktop program, but...

Re: 30.06 to 6.5x55 Swede Conversion. I had 3 different Rem 700 rifles done in 6.5X55 and 2 needed the bolt face opened a little bit to function (with Lapua cases.) From what I've read most people who have done this build don't seem to have any problems so I'm going to say it should work fine.
