Re: Badger or DD Ross bottom metal? After purchasing the DD Ross floor plate I have to admit I was really pleased with the quality. Dan Ross is a good guy and easy to work with....just hard to get on the phone.

Re: Durability of Nightforce Having just bought one a few months ago I have no doubt that it was the best money that I've ever spent. I heard these optics were durable but this goes way beyond that. Just goes to show you that you get what you pay for.

Re: Couple of nigtforce questions To answer question 1 their warranty is bulletproof. You can talk to several guys on this site. They've even been known to honor the warranty to a second or third hand buyer. Buying one of their products is the best money I've ever spent.

Re: Butler Creeks for New Nightforce Scope? You'll probably find that most on this site stick with the objective covers that come with the NF scope. The Butler Creeks leave something to be desired in the quality control department.

Re: night force rings and baseplate That is entirely too much scope for the distances you want to shoot. I've purchased my Nightforce for 500 to 1000 yard shooting. Your scope is designed for beyond 1000 yards at its optimum.
