Suppressors Any Ruger LCP Modifications to add a safety?

Re: Any Ruger LCP Modifications to add a safety? My wife isn't carrying hers yet, but I went ahead and put the Kel-tec belt clip on hers. She plans to clip it in her skirt.

Suppressors Any Ruger LCP Modifications to add a safety?

I bought my wife a Ruger LCP recently for her to use as her CCW. In the box there was this warning about not carrying it loaded because of concerns of it going off if dropped. I just got a few weeks ago so I assume it's post-recall. We have test fired it on two occasions so far (50 rounds) at...

Where can I calibrate my scope in Austin TX?

Re: Where can I calibrate my scope in Austin TX? Like firing a box of ammo to get my scope to point where my bullets are going? What's that called? Scope is brand new - factory installed. The first time I fired the rifle, I didn't have a stable footing to fire it from.

Where can I calibrate my scope in Austin TX?

I've been reading the horrible reviews of shooting ranges in the Austin area. We want to join the Austin Rifle Club, but we have to wait for their next training seminar which isn't for another month. We've been going to a range near Houston since we were there for Christmas and New Years. Anyone...

    My new toy..

Savage 10GLX Lefty in .22-250 I put on the Harris bipod today, although I shot it at the range the day I picked it up (last Saturday) before the bipod. I am very excited to shoot it again. It feels very stable now. I don't particularly like the scope that came with it. It's a Bushnell 3-9x40...

    Who's built a tube gun?

Re: Who's built a tube gun? Edit: I see now there are a few kits which basically include everything but the action, barrel, trigger and scope for $700-1000. Is there anyone that sells assembled tube guns? Maybe a "on-the-low-end" model?

Just ordered my Savage 10 GLXP3 Lefty in 22-250

Re: Just ordered my Savage 10 GLXP3 Lefty in 22-250 I want to get a bipod for it before we pick it up so I can install it before the range. Is harris the end-all of bipods or are there other good quality bipods?

Just ordered my Savage 10 GLXP3 Lefty in 22-250

We went to a shop in League City and after discussing with the owner, I decided to order a lefty in 22-250. It should be in in a few days so we're going back next weekend to pick it up and take it to the range. We also got a Glock 19 while we were there.

Left-handed bolt action for left-hander necessary?

Should a lefty be using a lefty bolt-action? Is this going to be a problem with the right?

Is there an inexpensive .22-250 bolt-action?

Re: Is there an inexpensive .22-250 bolt-action? Yeah. The Stevens 200 seems like the right deal for me. Now to pick out a scope..

Is there an inexpensive .22-250 bolt-action?

A family member turned me onto this interesting cartridge type. He bought a rossi single shot rifle for his young daughter, but I was looking for an adult size bolt-action for me as a trainer. I guess if I want to get an inexpensive trainer, I'll have to stick with .22LR, since the .22-250's go...

Best 22LR on the cheap as a starter rifle

Re: Best 22LR on the cheap as a starter rifle I'll have to shop a gun show when I get to Texas (we're moving there soonish; as soon as we sell our house). I probably won't have any time to shoot before then anyway. Def looking at the 10/22 or the savage mkII..

Best 22LR on the cheap as a starter rifle

I'm following the LR shooting primer and looking for a 22LR to learn to shoot at 100 yards. The less I can spend the better as I am basically broke at the moment. I know cheap and accurate don't go always hand-in-hand. But what's the best/accurate 22LR say under $400. Even a good used one at...
