I just bought a Mossberg MVP in 5.56. It has an adjustable trigger, but even on the lightest setting it is still a little heavier than I would like it to be. Does anybody know of anyone who sells aftermarket triggers for this rifle? Thanks!
Re: 917 Bolt Before & After (pics) Thanks guys. It is a little long, but I love how it functions. I installed it myself. Just put a cutting wheel on my angle grinder, and chopped off the original knob. Then while the metal was still hot, self threaded the new knob right on. Piece of cake.
Re: Cold bore shot is usually high Aim low. Once you know where you cold bore shot tends to go, you can compensate for it. That's what I do anyway. Mine's usually low to the right.
Re: Savage17 hmr I have the Marlin, but it also prefers the Hornady 17 gr. vmax or CCI TNT HP's. I've heard the 20 gr. is better for shooting out farther, but I've never used them myself. 300 is good enough for me!
Re: Marlin 917V accuracy ^ With the tacticool I had to torque the screws pretty hard and also sand out the barrel channel a little. VERY much worth it though.
Re: .22 mag vs. .17hmr I've had both and personally prefer the 17 much better. More accurate and I dunno about anyone else, but I can shoot mine at 200 very easily even on a breezy day. JMO
