Re: RCBS Uniflow powder measure Armor, got to have a sense of humor. I cleaned it with rubbing alachol and have run over 1/2 lb thru it a couple of times, before expecting reliable results. I have been sensative to hand a motion, speed and force. the bugger just won't throw - big...
I have just got one of these and have taken it apart and cleaned it twice. The problem is that I can not get any reliable throws . I want 25.1 and can adjust to 24.9 ( which is ok cause I trinkle each load), the next throw can range from 23.6 to 24.5. I am having a hard time liking this...
Re: replacement trigger for accutrigger I just called Rifle Basix and the man advised that it is going to take @ $15K and about a year to redesign the Sav 2 to fit the accustock. So I am in a quandry as to buy a Cooper, Sav 1 or give shooting up?
I shoot better with a low pull weight. the accutrigger won't perform (doesn't cycle thru cocking)when set on min spring compression ( stock spring). So I am looking for a significantly lower pull weight trigger assembly to be used bench rest shooting only. suggestions would be appreciated...
About ever 4 th shot, the bolt does not cock, if I recycle the bolt it will cock and fire a round. I have 1535 shots thru it. Any ideas of what I should be looking for. Thanks, Paul
I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a detailed procedure for disassembly of the bolt. I disassembled and polished my Mark II(22lr) and got great results, but the bolts are different and I couldn't find anything on line for my 223. Thanks
I have a Savage 10 predator hunter max in 223. I clean the gun about every 150 rounds. I use it for paper shooting. I was wondering about how many rounds can I expect from the barrel? Thanks for your input.
Well I just ordered a Vortex Viper from Scott. I had a few questions and he was very helpful in answering them and made me feel that I am an important customer. Also he was very fast in answering my email question too. Now I just wait for the scope. Paul
Well I have a 36" one and haven't used it more than 35 times and the brass (like) end came off the rod proper. Paid $39.95 for it @ 13 months ago. Can't find a company phone number that is valid. Says it has a "lifetime Guarantee". I took it back to the shop where I bought it and they said...
I am thinking about buying one of these and putting it on a 223 Savage for 100+ yard paper and some ground hogs. Any guidance would help. If I buy it, it will be before the end of the week. Thanks Paul
