New Cheek Piece - Updated! Group Buy

Re: New Cheek Piece - Updated! Actually, I'd envision that it's easier to make an angled one than it is a rounded one. I can see the angled one being a crapload more uncomfortable though, even with the foam pad. An angled one would only require you to take your cut piece of aluminum sheet...

New Cheek Piece - Updated! Group Buy

Re: New Cheek Piece - Updated! I had actually planned on counter-sinking the hole in the stock to where the sleeves were flush with the stock's surface, allowing the option of leaving a roughed outer surface so it could be bedded in place. Actual fabrication brought design insight though. I...

New Cheek Piece - Updated! Group Buy

Re: New Cheek Piece - Updated! Well, I had a few issues today so I didn't get my hardware done, but I took pictures of the basics of what it will look like. I started off with these: XLR cheek piece, 2x 1/4d" screws with 3/4d" knurled heads, 2x 3/4d" knurled nuts, and 2x die springs. I...

    LE Snipers Using Semi-Auto

Re: LE Snipers Using Semi-Auto I guess I'm torn here on my response. Why would any civilian need it? There's a few people in the world that would love to have so much as a .22 to utilize against their governments but can't. So the civilians here can own one, and it's proven fact that...

    Atlas in stock at triad!!

Re: Atlas in stock at triad!! Cause they don't want to take it off anytime soon, or because they believe that the clamp could possibly become a little bit loose over time with wear and tear probably.

New Cheek Piece - Updated! Group Buy

Re: New Cheek Piece - Updated! Got my cheek piece from Kyle today, and he is a great guy! I'm still waiting on the hardware I want to try from McMaster Carr though, so I won't be able to start this project until next week when I get back from MO. I hinted at something I'm going to try to...

    Atlas bipod

Re: Atlas bipod Not yet, but when I can get one it'll be going on the Seekins SRS. Several people suggested it as the way to go since it's designed to fit the double sling points so that's what I plan on using. I'm pretty satisfied with the SRS' looks right now. Still pretty low profile and all.

    Savage 10 FCP-K re-stock questions

Re: Savage 10 FCP-K re-stock questions One issue you're going to have from the start if you're going for it for the detachable box magazine alone, is that you're stuck with the stock 4 round magazine. Unless you're prepared from the start to change the bottom metal to where it accepts the...

Movie Theater Anyone else like "Human Target" on Fox?

Re: Anyone else like "Human Target" on Fox? That's kind of what I'm afraid of too Greg, cancellation that is. Someone said as much on one of the online ratings type sites, that Fox isn't helping them much either, pushing it around to different time slots and such. I'd buy it anyway, and...

Action screws : Hex or slotted head?

Re: Action screws : Hex or slotted head? If I can get away with using hex heads on something, I will choose them first. I have stripped the hell out of slotted/phillips heads, and tore up more than one screwdriver or bit as well. I have yet to strip a hex head screw yet. I'm not going to...

Movie Theater Anyone else like "Human Target" on Fox?

I've only been able to catch about half of the shows, but for a regular(non-cable) TV show I've enjoyed it more than I remember enjoying 24. It's nice to have comedy mixed in with the action anyways. I'm definitely looking forward to the next run at any rate.
