    I'm going to be shooting closer than that on most occations I would guess 2-500 mostly but occasionally wanting to reach out. That's why I was looking at the 6x45 but the 6mmAR is pretty interesting.

    What's the benefit of 6mmAR over the Grendel? Its a 6.5 necked down to 6mm right, so better choice in bullets with better BC than Grendel, and more capacity than 6x45?

    Yea my buddy has a .223 bolt rifle that he can hit out even further than that. It was impressive but I think getting away from the 223 is kind of my goal here to some extent. I like the idea of pushing something heavier and I def can use this for some yotes or other varmints out in the desert...

    Hey guys Im wondering if any of you use the Maxpedition Condor II as your range/hunting pack. The reviews seem great on this backpack, but Im still kind of torn b/w this one and the Falcon II. What do you guys think?

    Re: Which Knife? NO better combat/survival knife exists that is better than the Tom Brown Tracker. Pricey yes but for an outdoorsman its a great investment and I have no regreted it once. Best knife made period.

    Re: Best shooting mat?? yea now I dont know what Im gonna go with lol..I'm in so cal and I do shoot in the desert so a tan or khaki is for sure. so many good choices. I like the fact that the TAB rolls up so compact, but more padding and better weather protection is appealing.
