Re: Scope interchangeability What about taking off your rings that are secured with clamp-nuts (e.g. TPS rings). Does it harm the scope in any way by loosening one ring then the other. If not, wouldn't they return to zero on the rifle also? Yes, this would take more time, but it might be...
Re: Ultra Low Scope rings? I have the same issue, and can’t imagine we are the only ones. With these 34mm tubes these lower rings are much more likely to work. Must be a something from a manufacturing standpoint that they can’t get anything much under 9/10th of an inch.
Re: 6mm BR - New Prairie Dog Killin Gun How do you like the Nightforce 8-32 MOAR ZS for PDs? I was looking at the same scope but NP-R1 due to the thinner lines which I think would help for targets and PDs at long distance.

Re: Nightforce F1 Zero Stop Tutorial Thanks John, this is great. I've had a zero stop for a while now and hate to admit it, but have been too chicken to mess with the clutch. I’ll give it a try once I zero the new rifle.
So I purchased a Savage Target Action from Jim Briggs at Northland Shooters Supply (great to work with btw). The tag on the action gives a warning that the action has not been proof tested. Should I be concerned about this or is it just another case of lawyer CYA? Should I perform some testing...
