I just got an email from then saying all is well and expect to see your can in 4 months at your dealer. Definitely made me nervous spending this kind of coin and not getting a super speedy response, but everything seems to moving along like they promised. I'm stoked for my next two cans! Now to...
Did you guys get a confirmation email after registering for the free can? I did not see one come thorough. I have emailed their CS to make sure mine went through but wanted to see what all your experience was.
Ordered an Omega, getting an Octane 45. I have the Saker 762, but that is a heavy beast. Really looking forward to a lighter can for hunting. First pistol can, and like benzy2, I will probably use it on 22 as much as anything else.
I was in Moscow in 2014 for a year. The people that live in there were rather liberal. Not terribly so, but the two colleges closeby tainted the water. Lewiston was better, from what I could tell. I worked with people from Orofino and such. They were conservative enough.
Billings, MT resident here. You don't have to drive far out from the bigger cities to get to small communities. I like the geography of the western part of the state, I like mountains and forests. Red Lodge is 60 miles south in the Beartooth range, which is close enough. My dad moved us up here...
I just purchased the LRTS 4.5-18 based on feedback I got from here. I have just played around with it so far and plan to go shoot it tomorrow. Can't wait!

Edit to add: Best 5 shot group to date. 0.302" if i remember right. Average group size that day was 0.75 moa.
There is a lot of wisdom in that post Greg! I find myself agreeing with what you said to a large degree. I used to not have a chrono, and a buddy has lent me his 35p. I also do very limited brass prep, and this is the first rifle I have splurged and bought Lapua brass for. I would LOVE a 1/4 moa...
The part about this that puzzles me is that I did things the same as when I did my load development initially, and shot this group:
~0.5" vertical spread with an ES of 33. Same load I shot yesterday.

I have never shot free recoil, its not something I have practiced. Typically, my setup is shooting from a Bulls Bag type rest in the front with a bunny ear or small squeeze bag in the rear. I pull the front rest back a bit so that I can push into the rifle. I usually shoot off the same bench...
Not saying it couldn’t be me! I know I am far from perfect! After seeing the trend I made a huge effort to shoot all shots the same. I very well could be “pushing” the first shot and setting in for the next 4. My groups are so damn similar I have a hard time believing it’s a flinch. I feel like...
5 shot groups. I would walk down to the targets between groups. So, 2 minutes max? Not really letting it cool down. It would do the same thing after each mag change. Didn’t clean between. I shot 5 groups and they all did this.
So I was out verifying group size and velocity today out of my 10ba stealth. I had previously done some load work up and found a load that shoots about 1” at 100 yds. Today when I was shooting groups, I would have the first round hit 1.5” high, and then the rest into 0.5”. The chrono data did...
Left is right, right is wrong.
When my dad was young pup, my grandpa took him to the gun room, showed him all the rifles and said, "See any left-handed guns?" and handed him an eye patch.
