Were you using a 50 cal Beowulf? I keep coming close to buying an upper. Just isn't a gun I'd use much unless I was in bear or moose country so I have continued to restrain myself
never send Paypal payment as friend. The person can keep the merchandise and do nothing. Just pay the fee. If you send as friend then Paypal has no recourse and no liability. Federal money order is an extremely binding legal transaction also . Just a bit more of a pain in the butt than Paypal
One thing I will add for the sake of some who don't know safe payment practices. Paying with Paypal is safe. They will refund you if you get screwed. But don't do the pay as a friend thing to save them a little fee. This obviously releases Paypal from liability. I learned this the hard way just...
Funny you mention Nemo. I was just looking and drooling over one in 300 win mag. I'm not familiar with the brand but was very curious when I saw they were using a cut rifled Bartlein. Not sure if anyone is familiar with them.
@week3 there is a JP in 6,5 creedmoor here at the top of Armslist page. Vendor is Manning % sons as someone recommended. Good price too. http://www.armslist.com/store/539
I got a great quote here on this forum from one of the vendors about a week ago. $2200 for the Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27X56, EBR-2C (MRAD). There have been several for sale in the used scope section also. The 3 lb weight seems to get to some people and they unload them. I considered for a...
I was quoted $2200 for the Razor Gen ll 4.5-27 yesterday by a vendor here. I have gotten a couple of S&B 5-25's for right at $2500 . Ask the vendors here. I bought one S&B at Euro optic recently. Also got a nightforce 5-25 about the same price. The gen 2 razor would be crazy on an AR. #...
I have been trying to contact Cain about purchasing one of his rifles. I understand being in the military his schedule is sometimes unpredictable. If anyone is familiar with his rifles I was curios if he uses cut rifled barrels or that may send is costs up beyond what he wants. I had some...
well with Frank recently taking a 308 out past 1400 using Warner tool flat line bullets it kinda changed the playground we have been accustomed to.....essentially giving a 308, 6.5 ballistics. And then he took the 6.5 out to 1700 if I remember correctly. But these are expensive solids made on a...
Interesting to hear. I'll have to give it a try. Don't have a 300 win mag but I can borrow one. I have a suppressor on my 338 I could move over. It would be a significant savings in powder and lead :)
I bought a shorty 10" when they first came out and I have been curious now that I am seeing 16 & 18" barrels if anyone has worked up a load & high bc bullet and chrono'd it out at 800 or 1000. I'm guessing maybe out to 800 yds they may stay supersonic. Anybody been playing with it?
I assume you have the Kahles 624i. It has 25 mils of elevation or 88MOA. I'd add a 40 MOA base or less and just holdover. There is nothing wrong with that. Most will be doing the same. One of the problems in Arizona is mirage. A lot of the time you won't be able to shoot over 18-20...
there are a couple of Leupold Mark 4 Tactical Spotting Scope 12-40x 60mm with TMR on Ebay for $800 If you want the more powerful Mark 4 20-60x80 with TMR then you might find one for $1500 but more likely $2000 Doubt you need more that the 12-40x60. So if you can choke down $800 grab one of...
You might be able to talk CA Luna into selling you one of his barrels. 5R cut rifled. https://srsrifles.com/index.php/product/custom-barrel/ Radian Weapons has been putting out quite a few rifles that will shoot 1/4" and 3/8" groups even with 14" barrels. Surprisingly they use a button rifled...
