    Advantages of an aftermarket bolt knob???

    I have seen many of them but have never shot a rifle with one. What is the advantage/reason for them? I love how they look but I'm sure it is more than just the asthetics as reason to have them. Anything I should be aware of when looking to get one for my Remington 700?

    Rifle Scopes How close to bottomed out is O.K. for elev. knob?

    I put a Bushnell 3200 10x on my AR15 with Burris Signature rings with the offset inserts. The combination I came up with gives me a 100 yard zero with only 7 minutes left to go down. Is there any prolem allowing the scope to live like that? I will be shooting out to 1k, so I like having the 93...

    I'd like to change my Remmy 700 bolt knob, I'll probably turn my own. How do I turn the factory knob into a threaded stud? I'd prefer not to cut the factory knob off, I was thinking I'd rough grind it down, somehow hold it in a 4-jaw and male-thread it to screw into a female knob like a CZ...
