Gunsmithing 223 in a 308 action?

Will a 223AI run in a 308 action (Remington 700). I plan on using a Seekins DBM. I do not know if the feed ramps being larger will affect the feeding of the rounds. Thanks for the help.

No not at all, the bolt face is the wrong size...I guess you could get a different bolt and feed ramp...If it were me I would start action shopping.

The feed ramp won't matter, but you will have extraction problems.

Yeah I know the bolt has to be swapped but was not sure about any feeding issues. Thanks for the help. Got an itch to do a 223AI for close range deer rifle. I have the stock and a Remmy S/A collecting dust. Guess I will be off to GAP for a visit. Thanks again.
