for a 300wm rifle that is going to be fitted with a can, whats the commendation? the purpose of the gun is a long range tac driver. i have an FN SPR A3 with the 24" bbl in .308 and this is going to be my longer range gun in 300. i mean the off the bat con i see is the overall length, can anyone add some input here and help out an old grunt?

Re: 26"brl VS 24"brl

if it is mainly prone shooting and not hunting go heavy and go long both will make it easier to shoot well at long distance. length will increase velocity and weight will make it slightly steadier and recoil less.
