Ok so is it possible to have 300 SAUM in a SA and shoot either berger 168gr hybrids, 175gr, or 185gr VLD's (at mag length) without cramping powder space too much? The SAUM, as I'm sure you all know, is shorter overall than the WSM and has a longer neck, both characteristics will aid in this goal but is it enough?

I run a Lazzeroni Patriot (30 cal short mag) out of a 700 short action. After shooting Barnes for years, I have been playing with the 190 Bergers. I'm still mag feeding them, I do have to admit that i'm still in the preliminary stages of testing but they are feeding just fine. For what it's worth, RL-17 has been the Go-To powder for my Patriot.
