408 speed question ?

Shooting a 420 grn RMB al tip out of a 32" Lawton CT barrel .. Is it possible to get a accuracy load doing 3000 fps ?

Some are telling me that it is possible.. and if so it narrows the difference between the 375 350 smk combo doing 3100 ?

Fact or fiction ?

I know people are shooting the Jaminson solids (419) at 2900 with 30 inch barrels. That seems like it would be a very hot load.

Yes that would be a hot load with those rmb bullets. I know i can push the jamison solids to 3k but the rocky are at least 50-75 fps slower then them.

Im glad you boys cleared that one up !

I just thought if the round was going 3000 vs the 375 CT at 3100-3150 there would not be much between them ?
