A SH member recently stated; "The majority of the members here need to work a week to buy your product so don't blame them for what's wrong with this Country."

(Please note that this member was taking liberties with my words as I stated; "The moral position stated by some members here is symbolic of what is wrong with America. After all it is all about me..... " in reply to a few posts regarding the theft of intellectual property rights. Please note my use of the word "some" not "all" or "majority" but "some".)

Anyhow, I believe that this SH member is wrong, I believe that the majority of SH members do indeed make more than 219.95 in weekly income and thought a poll would be a good way to check that.

So here's the question;

Is your income more than $219.95 USD a week?

Please answer above

We'll run it for a week, closing 12 November 2013 and then we'll announce what we are going to do next.

You know, I make more than $219.95 per day, but with a stay at home wife and two small children, I do not see any of it. Sigh... But I love my family so much, so really I feel richer than I have ever felt in my whole life. Liberty is a moral that cannot be stated in dollars.

Don't let all that noise bother you. Every week there is a tread about the Atlas, why another bipod is better, faster, cheaper, etc. Now, it's how it's priced compared to the value of a knock-off and even funnier................how much profit you are entitled to. When they stop bashing you, then you should start to worry................... March on brother, keep up the great work!

I make more than that a week, and I'm on permanent disability income. To make matters even worse, I get paid in Canadian money!

Thing is though, the added/extra expenses that one has to endure, when dealing with these disabilities..... definitely makes the monthly bills even higher than they used to be. But, one needs to be alive to complain, so for that alone I am thankful.

I think by "work a week" he may have been referring to disposable income. I mean, I make way more than that on disability/comp. and pen. (and may get my military retirement soon since they screwed up ten years ago when I got out). Anyone 100% disabled through VA and pulling SS too gets approx. $4000 per month. But that said, there's a mortgage, bills, etc. So some months I have zero to spend (like last month) and others I have more. If wife didn't work we'd have a lot less income to devote to this.

Living in WA is GREAT, but it's damn expensive along the I-5 corridor. We live sort of off the beaten path and it's still expensive. So someone in my situation in another state would have a lot more to spend. But doubtful I'd like any other place half as much as here.

I think I made $219 a week when I was a kid working minimum wage, or barely over, in AL 20 years ago!

I definitely make more than $220 a week but after house payment, bills, child support(I have my son 50% of the time it's bullshit), etc. I definitely don't have that much that I can spend every week.

I really do wish the Atlas was a little more affordable I would already have one if it was but I do still want to buy one some day. I'll just make do with my backpack for a front rest for now.

I said "no" but thats because 1. I'm not working at the moment. and thats because I'm 19 and in college and havent gotten a job here yet.

However; working 12hr/week at one job I made $200/paycheck (every 2 weeks). but working 2 jobs, I could make 220 in 2 days. job 1 7am-3pm and job 2 4:30-8:30pm.

I'm 100% service connected disabled, so while I make more than that per week, I have a wife and three young kids, so after bills food and a few canes of Copenhagen, I have $2.95 left at the end of the week. ;)

Kasey,

As per your post criteria, my full time occupation did not make me that amount and I work 65+ hours a week. I haven't made that weekly amount in months so does that mean I get a free Atlas?

If so, I would be really thankful because I plan on mounting it to another MKM Maten I'm waiting on for delivery. :)

ps, Kasey is very helpful for those considering his product.

Quite frankly I am disappointed a hide member would say that. Everyone is the master of their own destiny so to blame a company for doing their best to earn a profit and eek out an existence to the best of their ability is bullshit. Last time I checked nobody in this world has an inherent right to anything.

It was me who said it, and meant no offense. Was trying to make a point and was taken out of context so Kasey can make his point. Kasey claimed some members were the reason why the Country is the ways it is and I wanted to make a point that we're all to blame including Kasey, unfortunately Kasey believes he's exempt. This has gone further than intended.

I apologize for making such a quick assumption. Should have known there was more to it.

I make more than that but I need a no clamp model along with a spigot so can we change the poll for me? I'm feeling special today lol. On a more serious note, I think that most full time jobs even at minimum wage would be at or close to the $219 a week after taxes. Although you could be like most of the guys I work with that miss an average of at least one day a week and sometimes two days a week but still bitch about being broke day after day.

Pleistarchus, your posts were not taken out of context, you made judgements of fellow members income.

I said "The majority of members have to work a week to buy one of your bipods". You Kasey put a number on it and asked members to take a poll on who makes $219 a week. I can easily turn it around and say I meant after the pay their bills or feed themselves, but no, I exaggerated by saying what I said and I was wrong to say it.

Have you ever made a mistake. Bought Chinese perhaps when American was an option. Or blaming people for the status of this Country for buying Chinese when American was an option. This was taken out of context for apparent reasons. I've had enough, have you?

I make more than $219 per week.

I also paid right at $300 each with shipping for all my Atlas bipods. Just saying…If you really wanna jump on the atlas bandwagon you better bring more than $219, especially if you got more than 1 rifle, which according to preppers rules 1 is none, and 2 is 1.

I do think they are worth it, but if I'm gonna buy "the best" I gotta spring for the QD while I'm at it:cool:so entry level for me was $900.

I do make a good bit more than that per week however as stated above, after bills, mortgage, gas, clothes, food and the rest for the family our accounts don't look that nice and my fun account is left with very little added. I do get to add to my account though and an Atlas is the next in line for purchasing, can't wait to get ride of this harris!
