First post for me I think, been lurking and soaking up the information for a long while.

Pic of my Desert Tech MDRX, currently sitting with a 20" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel in it, Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10 SFP for the optic. Rifle next to it is the first rifle I built, which was a fun little experiment in how accurate 7.62x39 Russian could be made (16" barrel) Pic was originally taken for size/length comparison.

And a grouping from the MDRX at 100yd during the initial barrel break-in. Pretty good considering I'm only a couple years into the hobby and still learning as much as I can for PRS stuff

An AW95xx serial numbered PTR GI, it’s the softest recoiling G3 clone I ever had and that includes a Springfield that I owned. It eats every surplus M80 that I’ve thrown at it. This has a heavy buffer, tigger job and a HK21 buttpad. It rivals my AR-10s in recoil, now I need to put a TA11 on her…

Hey, folks.
I'm new here. Here's my 6.5 CM. Faxon 20" heavy fluted barrel, Live Free receiver set, Failzero BC with a Rubber City bolt, cool carbon fiber chicken wire handguard from Brigand Arms, Hiperfire trigger and some economical Vortex glass, in a LaRue mount, I'm still working on it and really need to cut my teeth on load development right now. Factory Hornady ammo is giving me some horrible 100+ fps spreads and 3 shot groups right under 1 moa, so it's hard to determine if this barrel is acceptable or not.

SG 510 T AMT in 308. These were made for the American Market.

The other firearm is a Valmet S62 in 7.62x39.

...that Ruger would look a whole lot better in one of those retro folding stocks that Midwest is putting out now...but that's the nostalgic old man in me talkin`, LOL

...from what I can recall, that Valmet is a milled receiver and one of the more accurate AK platforms made at the time, some said even better than the South African R4's or Israeli Galil's...

I hate that folding stock on the Mini 14. I am going to pickup a Walnut Stock and Handguard for it.

The Brownell's BRN-180 upper is a real sleeper. Designed and produced by PWS for Brownell's, it is based on Eugene Stoner's landmark AR-180 short stroke gas piston, multi-lug rotating bolt concept. Thia upper will drop onto just about any AR' lower out there. Since there's no need for the AR-15 lower receiver extension with this AR-180 design, specialized lowers incorporating a Mil-Std 1913 rail that accepts folding stocks or pistol braces can be utilized. This provides a much more compact form factor than any collapsable stock. The BRN-180 has an exceptionally light bolt carrier plus a rubber recoil buffer, resulting in surprisingly light felt recoil. This is all the more surprising, given thath this pistol only weighs 5 LB 10 OZ as shown.
