Saw a recall on ground beef this morning with the meat in question sold from Dec 28 to Jan 20th expiration date.

Can someone explain to me, why the government/industry always issues these recalls AFTER the shit has reached its expiration date? I mean, WTF? The recall does no good for the vast majority of folks if it is done after the expiration date on the product. Shit, most people have eaten it, or thrown it out by then... Smdh...why the fuck even bother?

People buy in bulk and freeze. Date is when it needs to be cooked/frozen.
Anytime I cook a recipe like soup, spaghetti sauce, chili I double or triple it and freeze some left overs. Makes the next go around easy reheating. I normally freeze in single serving size so they can be used in lunches or if everyone doesn't want the same meal.

I do the same with most everything I cook, go large every time, keep refrigerated or freeze in single servings. Makes things simpler, an less dishs/pans ect to fool with each meal.

Yeah, I get it, I buy in bulk and freeze as well. But let's face it gents, we're not the majority (especially here in the city). Most folks eat their shit as they buy it. They don't have to travel 30-40mins to get to a grocery store, so shop near daily.

The world is full of stupid, an city's more so. 12 meal's rule city's, an if people what to live that way thats OK. Where I came from everyone had a least a 27CF freezer that stayed full. Now we have critters than do not cook, store no food an pay for their meals with a CC or debit card. Whats going to happen when the sky turns ugly? They will also,... hungry people are dangerous people. Hence why those of us who prep, prep for everything.

They'll be the ones standing there waiting for the government to save them. (the idiots, not those who've prepped and have brains)
