Re: forum length
LBM: But, sir, wouldn't it be best to send a squad down Medicine Tail Coulee?
Custer: - No, it wouldn't.
LBM: - May I ask, sir, why it wouldn't?
Custer: Because it would cost us the vital element of surprise.
LBM: Surprise? They know we're here.
Custer: But they don't know that I intend to attack them without mercy.
LBM: - That's no surprise.
Custer: - Of course it is.
Custer: Nothing is more surprising than the attack without mercy.

On a separate note, but consistent with the overarching theme, I have always thought it best to hate the sin and not the sinner; but, does it seem that illegal immigrants tend to litter more than average folks? Three families tried to trash my favorite fishing hole last weekend while having a cookout/swim/reunion/dinner/trash dump build. Is this stereotyping? Now that I am legal, I notice these things. My tolerance of the human condition is quite high, but littering and the ruination of nature by the purposeful dropping, and leaving, of one's trash such as taco wrappers and breakfast cereal boxes, and corn chips and -count 'em-, 29 beer cans, pushes me into a realm of sanity where I cannot wholly and adequately maintain a proper modicum of nicety. I had to conduct a surprise attack without mercy using only an old fly rod and a creel.
So, my questions are, what is the perfect amount of magnification for a telescope on a rifle larger than .30 cal if your targets are mainly 22 inches wide, and 65 inches high. Use min and max in your response please and add a few comments on what you think Newt Gingrich would be like for the nation if elected as president.
