I've been eyeing these online but have yet to run across one in the wild and quality reviews are lacking. It looks promising for a southeast hunting and generalist rig: reasonable weight, shorter barrel, iron sights, flush sling cups, detachable magazine and threaded barrel.

Does anyone have hands on experience specifically with the All-Terrain model? I'm particularly interested in feedback regarding accuracy and precision as well as overall handling and ergonomics.

new to the site. Found your post while I was looking for optics options for one. Picking mine up tomorrow and hope to have it on the range this weekend. Will post some feedback

I'll be interested to hear your impressions. Happy shooting.

I was at a store that had one in stock and handled it just to compare it to my CVA Cascade. I honestly didn't pay much attention to the action, I was focused on the stock. The Franchi has an almost tacky feel to the stock and the rubber actually catches on your clothes.

Depending on how you use/carry the Franchi this may never bother you, but for still hunting I don't prefer it.
I have a soft spot for "scout" type rifles though, so I still like the All-Terrain.

Good luck

Finally picked it up yesterday in Houston. Had a delay with the storms the week before getting the optics mounted. Went with a Swarovski Z3 3-9x36. Take this review lightly, as I don’t shoot rifles too often. Bought a few different types of ammo to see what worked best. Put 75 rds down range. It worked best with the Hornady 168gr. Shot everything without suppressor. Finish is good on the barrel, the stock wasn’t tacky at all for me but did have some excess that wasn’t trimmed when mated to the barrel. The action felt ok, but not great. I had some issues with rounds feeding properly, not often but a few times. I had 3 misfires, but going to attribute that to the Barnes 168gr box being bad. Had the mid-level cheek well on it and it would pop off every 4-5 shots to the point it got aggravating. Going to try the highest one and once I settle will just superglue it down. It seems fairly accurate though and wish I’d have gone with a larger objective glass and will likely swap it out. It’s a light carry, which is a plus. All in all, it’s not what I was hoping for. I think it would be better priced just under $1k.

Good feedback that jives with the few reviews I've come across. On paper it sounds like a solid, practical rifle but that doesn't seem to be the reality.

Think I'll pass on this one.
