Garmin Foretrex 701 rifle profile setup?

I recently picked up a 701 with Applied Ballistics and noted the instructions on how to set everything up is kind of thin on details.

When it comes to the DSF, theres no entry of atmospheric data involved. Do i need to go out and shoot then enter the real values while out in those conditions for it to be accurate? Or do the atmospheric conditions not matter for that and i can enter based on notes that I've taken from previous trips?

Atmospheric does mater for calibrating MV and DSF. You should check out the kestrel training under their resources. Also if you post in the ballistic computer sub forum Doc will likely respond with more information.
