So ended up finding 2k of Berry's plated 115's for my newfound interest in my STI. Have a pretty decent stock of shtf stuff but nothing I wanted to waste on practice. I was happy for a moment but I'll be honest. After three elections and midterms etc, I'm just feeling like this is getting old. I feel like spending time with other hobbies (track car, motorcycle, fishing etc) but I feel that wouldn't be right and I need to train/prep more. Anyone else feeling the same?

got some cannelured 77smks from sierra outlet today. unfortunately it wasnt the girl who used to generously scoop extry in me bag witha wink. think i actually got only a pound this time but im still tickled to load them.
Eh, I buy and shoot what I can. As components come and go I shoot less or more. I tend to buy bigger quantity when stuff is available and haven't worried as much lately.

Yes. I wanted some different hog bullets. Stopped at Academy and they had .30 cal, 165 gr SST's for $10 off per box. First I was surprised they had anything but was shocked they were on sale. I couldn't find them anywhere else. No 6.8 SSTs though.
I think you will see the day when just finding "commodities" will be exciting.... Just wait until we go to the barter system... That's when the excitement really ratchets up ...... Trading something you don't need for something you do need. Continue to train / prep.... That can't be taken away like the other play toys.

Finding things iin the back of one of your safes is a very excellent feeling. I can remember finding a spring assist knnife that I completely forgot I owned. It was like Christmas morning for me.

A former colleague of mine, who got out of Russia in early 90's and is US citizen told me that he'd wait in the bread line while his Mom was at Job 1, then he'd go to school and his little brother not in school yet would take over his spot until his mom got off work of Job 2, and by then at least 70% of time there was no bread. That's the system these people want and a big reason why they are all anti-2A if they are in Gov't. It's fine their militarized wing of the communist (formerly known as democrat) party has them...they can be the goons that are the enforcers.
why would it be bad finding things that make you happy ? unless maybe you spent your childs collage education funds on those things but face it collage is now a indoctrination depot for the dimacrats and socialism and the kid he can get a couple of summer jobs it build character so that money was better used on again something that made you happy .
