i will do that. i still believe creating immunity is a benefit. hep b vax in infants (along with a bunch more) is the perfect example of profit driven malpractice. the change from tet toxoid to DPT prophylaxis for a penetrating wound was always suspicious to me. never heard of a diptheria case in US in ever. pertussis is generally infants only and very rare as well. my vax cynicism was rudimentary at the time. the 1 and only flu shot i ever got ('75) reinforced it a bunch. just took about 20yr experience to make me not believe a lot of work stuff. i am not sure but i believe the "recommended" vax #s on infants is > 20 (?).

as an aside,i can tell you that if you have ever seen a case of active tetanus,you will likely take the shot. other nurses with 30-50yr experience often doubt that i have seen 3,but i have. i actually don't know another RN or a doc that has seen even 1 or heard of 1 anywhere they have been. 2 were actve when i saw them and died ugly. 1 was caught on like day 2 post injury and was caught by 2 brilliant docs in 2 separate ERs sent to my place as an emergent referral. she lived after a somewhat stormy coarse.

The last(actually the first) DPT shot i had was about 10 years ago.
I thought my arm was gonna melt and fall off.
I have no problem with a tetanus shot, never a problem or reaction.
I don't trust the DPT.
Got cut bad on some dirty steel siding several weeks ago....i reckon i lucked out on the lockjaw.

The "genocide" occurred from about 1500-1600 gove or take, and it was not intentional.
