scope 6-24x50 konus
ammo: CCI SV 0032, about 7 cents a round

temp 61 F
wind 3 MPH, changing
score 247 or 248 one just on the 10 ring line at 1:30 point. 6x
not sure what happened on the one at 9 ring line at 4', reading wind wrong or just under powered ammo. I tend to think i get caught by a stronger wind, as i only has one flag near me, but i know down range, wind can be at a different direction than the flag indicates.

Re: MAY 2012 SH 100 TO 300 YD RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS

Very windy this morning (gusting at 20+ mph), but I shot regardless.

Not a good score, but I didn't have high hopes that it would be considering the conditions. I really fought for each point today, that's for sure!

First time shooting this barrel. Using a Harris bipod. Warm, sunny day with shifty 10 MPH wind from the rear (left to right). Overall, I am satisfied for now. The trigger definitely needs work, and I am certain that the action needs bedded. I'll give it another 300 or so rounds before I start modifying the action/stock. The trigger and scope mount HAVE to be fixed though. I've ordered an adapter so that I can use my Warne steel rings, and will be working on the trigger tomorrow.

I HOPE I scored this thing correctly. It's tough to tell.

Re: MAY 2012 SH 100 TO 300 YD RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS

Hi,
New here, just found this thread. Love rimfire, have some nice toys, and want to play, but was a little confused by the huge variety of targets, coursed of fire, equipment classes, etc... in the rules. Maybe someone can explain a little better what I need to do to get started. What course of fire I need to shoot, on what target, with what equipment. Also, the range I frequent is kind of ridged about not allowing us to put up targets up at intermediate distances between the berms. They have berms at 50,100,200,300 but would not allow a target to be placed at 250 for example. Thanks, JDBraddy

Well here we are halfway through 2012 going into June, and had many shooters so far this year, just never in the same month. Ashout out to 3WIDE, scored a solid 250 in the 100YYD TQ4 prone match, but came up a little short on the X count for a perfect score. Still a great effort.
