Hey guys, I need help. I'm having a 6.5 creedmoor being built as we speak. I purchased a surefire brake to put on it(not sure of the model number). Anyway, the brake does not match the contour of the barrel at all. It is a good bit smaller in diameter than the heavy contour barrel it was going to go on. I really don't want to have the barrel turned down, so does anyone have a brake that they recommend? I don't want an obnoxious looking brake, I want something simple and effective.
Thanks,
Will

Any brake from American Precision Arms will work and look great. For a cheaper alternative take a look at the Badger Thruster.

I really like the badger mini fte. Get the 22cal and have it bored to 6.5. Very effective and you time it yourself, easy removal for a can/cleaning

Killer Inivations is running a batch of 6.5mm brakes might check them out I have one on a 243LBC that I love. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408336309.831870.jpg

What is the diameter of the barrel where it would meet brake? What size is the barrel threaded?
