Rem 700 in LH

OK I am looking to buy a Rem700 LH in 5.56 and also .308

I have looked at the Rem website but do not see any of the tactical models in LH

Can anyone tell me which ones are available currently

Good luck, I'm a fellow southpaw. I've been buying stripped actions and building my own because of the hoops involved in finding a factory lefty rifle.

Here in UK used LH Rem 700's are as rare as rocking horse shite

I already built a .300 Win Mag out of my 700LH

And trying a personal import is a major work up

I cannot find a US dealer prepared to jump through all the hoops

By the time you do a personal import what would the price difference be instead of just ordering a custom action?

Same problem, cannot find a manufacturer prepared to sell for export.

I have all the required import permits and licenses but I guess US Export controls are just to much hassle

You can get a LH Varmint model in 308 and 223, black tupperware stock. Where are you buying stripped actions?

badwolf, I'm in the states and I gget them from willsnipe here on the hide.

Ferryman is in the UK and he can't find them, hence the topic.

OK I bit the bullet and ordered the SPS varmint.223 and also a .308

UK price as a dealer was $800 each

I did consider an AI in left hand but that was $6K

Is that 800EU or 800 pounds or 800 USD? 800 USD wouldn't be too bad at all, especially considering the laws you have to work under.
