Remington 700 VTR in .223 break in

I bought this little rifle last week and wondered about breaking it in. I know the one shot clean routine for the barrel, but the bolt is pretty stiff operating, and the trigger while reasonably crisp still "feels" a just bit rough.

Is there anything to be done to the bolt or trigger like dry firing or just working the bolt or polishing to loosen it up?
