Has anyone had an opportunity to play with the new smart scopes that will be released to the MC for testing shortly.

I was talking to a friend who just came back from a demonstration at Langley of the new technology. As he described it, you can mark up to 10 targets using the scope and then you hold the trigger down and when the rifle crosses the firing position it fires.

In the demonstration, the presenter marked the targets (milk jugs) at 700 yards and then while not looking through the scope (looking at the audience) proceeded to hit all targets.

That just shows what the system can do, work smarter not harder. The military scope systems should almost have unlimited range and be able to mark up to 10 targets, but the civilian version will be limited to range and only mark one target. The system is amazing, but in the right hands its a killing machine!!!!

Are these still usable in any form when the batteries run out?

what does 'MC' stand for? I'm assuming military community.

Is this a technology different than Tracking Point's system? Sounds very similar?
