Rifle Scopes SWFA 5-20 reticle question

For someone who has the SWFA SS 5-20 HD is the reticle somewhat thick? In the sense of let's say hunting groundhogs or other small targets at around 400 yards? I love this scope and hoping I'll be fine with the reticle, but would love to hear some thoughts. I have a Vortex PST 6-24 FFP currently, should I just stick with it?

I think that its been discussed and actually calculated somewhere here before. Looking at SWFA's website it states that the reticle is 0.05mils thick.

0.05 mils x 3.6 in @ 100 yards = 0.18" high and wide at 100 yards.

0.18 x 4 = 0.72" high/wide at 400 yards.

Obviously as a FFP reticle it will be much thicker than the SFP that you are used to with the Vortex but you should be fine.
