My Lyman Twin Turbo went tits up on me, it's a sealed unit so it dosen't look like it can be fixed.
After alittle searching it looks as if a Thumlers may be the way to go. Looked at a Dillon CV750, I'm sure it's a decent one but I'm not sure if it can be repaired either. It is also all plastic. The Thumler looks like the base is made of metal, and the motor looks as if it may be serviceable.

    Anyone using one?

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Thumlers Tumbler UV-10

If your looking at purchasing a new tumbler I would suggest switching from vibratory to rotary tumbling with Stainless Steel media.

I know lots of shooters that have Thumler Tumbler Model "B"'s that are still going after 10+ years with minimal maintenance!

I have two and the one is 12+ years and still going strong! I have yet to see a vibratory out last a rotary. Pricing is pretty close to the same.

I have also found that the Stainless steel media, Water, and soap cleans better than any method I have used.

Read old post on the media before making a decision! Many guys have switched and are happy they did.

Purchased the UV10 two months ago-the commercial model-Top of the line unit.Quiet-fast-well worth the $. Wasted a lot of money changing motors on other tumblers-including two motors from Graingers! barry
