i could b wrong mike, but i think the gen 1 i had , i had to do some work to make the trigger hanger work for the impact action, the gen 2 i bought, i didnt' have to.

According to the lady who used to own/run JAE ( can’t remember her name) said they cut in changes as they were developed and didn’t group them into “Gens”.

This chassis has the recess just in front of the ejection port and I believe this is indicative of a later release wher they lowered the weight.

Also can look at the back of where the action beds and see if it says A or B after the part number.

Finally, there were some changes to the mag collet where you can adjust it forward or back but I can’t remember what to look for there but believe if you Google it there is an article or vid from them on this.
