I have a like new Nightforce NX8 F1 in 2.5-20x50 with Mil-XT reticle that I bought just a few months back and has been mounted but not left the gun room. It is sitting in a new Leupold one piece mount, asking $1,700.00 shipped and insured with original box and paperwork.

I have a like new Treminus Zues QC Short action with 2 bolts. The action has 16 rounds on it with the standard bolt. Mag face bolt has zero rounds. Not a mark on action. I also have a couple of barrels I would sell with it. I am going in a different direction and decided to move this. The barrels I have are a Bartlein #4 carbon @ 18". The second is a #13 carbon Bartlein at 18" in 6.5 PRC 7.5 twist 400 MODBB DLC coated 5/8 Threaded with APA muzzle brake. Both barrels were chambered by Greg at bugholes. The 22 creedmoor barrel has 16 rounds on it and the 6.5 PRC has zero on it. I will be cross posting this. Guys I am getting a lot of questions about trades. I really need to cash out on this. If I traded it would have to be in my favor and I want it to be good for both of us and not sure I can do that on this stuff.

Its a 4-16 with illumination and adjustable parallax, illumination, and only 18oz! However, it is SFP, capped MOA turrets, and comes in a lame BDC reticle.

If they took this scope body and made it a 3-12 or 2.5-10 with a Mil-tree reticle that also draws the eye to the center for quick shots, I would be really interested. This could be like an optically superior version of the SWFA ultralight, with illumination and adjustable parallax.

To grow this quickly its got to be demonic.

I have two Rim X rifles both with Trigger Tech Diamond two stage triggers. I started having issues with the one that is 6 months old. The trigger was going off upon closing the bolt. It did not send a round down the pipe but it did decock. It occurred about once every 15 rounds and was more common if you ran the bolt quickly (like we do in PRS and NRL). I did a little research and noticed that JONATHAN OCAB of You Tube was having the exact same issue with his centerfire rig. I believe OCAB received his replacement trigger promptly.

My son called Trigger Tech and made them aware of this situation. They advised him to send the trigger back. He was told that they would send him a replacement trigger as soon as they had confirmation that the trigger had been mailed. The trigger was mailed. They received the trigger and have yet to send a replacement. He is looking at the possibility of not being able to shoot at least two matches based on Trigger Tech not following through with what they told us. Calls to Trigger Tech are not being returned.

Does anyone have any experience dealing with TT on warranty issues?
The trigger we had represented a safety issue and did not run well. It is a documented issue on You Tube. I would hope they would want to get the issue resolved. This is beyond frustrating. Advice?

So I am looking at getting my first long range rifle. I have been researching and every time I think I know what I want, I start looking at something different. Seems they also keep on getting a little more expensive LOL. I want to keep it close to 2K, but may think about waiting a little longer and go up to the 3k mark. Problem is every time I do that it seems like it just goes up more. I already got my glass, I got a Vortex Razor Gen3 so will be good there now. I also should mention I am going with 6.5 creedmore and I don't reload.

At first I had it down to between the Solus and the Tikka. I then was looking at the Seekins Hit and thought I was sold, until I start looking at the MPA. I want to go Arca so if I put a Arca on the HIT it is getting closer to the MPA BA PMR rifle. I also looked at the MPA Matrix Pro and at 3K I really like the looks of the frame on the Matrix Pro. My main issue with the HIT was I played with the action on one at Scheels, and felt like it wasn't super smooth.

I also know that Shot show is going on this week, I haven't had the time to really see what is coming out, but would like to hear if there is anything new coming out that maybe I should wait for. I am a little excited to get a rifle, and a little ansy, but in all honestly am not in a super hurry and can wait. Not going to shoot outdoors in the winter anyways.

Side note on me, I want to learn on to shoot long range. I have never shot long range and also will more then likely be for fun and going to a range and target shoot. I don't plan on competing. As much fun as I think that would be I am a busy person and live fairly far from long distance ranges. I do like quality and cool guns so even though I probably won't shoot long range like some, I still want something on the nicer side. I don't hunt, but may try going out to SD to do some prairie dog hunting or something.

And it wll be north of the Red River. Eat your hearts out Texas.

It was brought to my attention that someone has created two different accounts trying to pretend that he is me.

He has created accounts named .PRDRIVER and PRDRIVER. - My account does not have a period in front or behind it.

This Fraudster then contacted one individual who expressed interest in one of my listings. He tried to pretend like he was me and sent a PayPal invoice to the buyer trying to buy a Chassis we had listed. Luckily the customer thought something was fishy and called us at our shop.

He could have easily lost out on $1600.

I think this is something that everyone should be aware of as this individual is most likely doing this to other people in the SnipersHide Post Exchange.

Make sure you are messaging with the original person who posted the listing. Look Out for someone who has created a new account on SnipersHide by dropping a period in front or behind a name on SnipersHide. You can look at information on their account as to when it was created and the type of feedback they have received.

I haven’t found a thread or really a reliable method to find any and all new riflescope offerings announcements from Shot Show 2024.

Anyone at Shot Show or those paying attention to product announcements willing to share with us?

A Delta Airlines Boeing 757 jet taxiing on the runway with 184 passengers on board at Atlanta’s international airport was forced to abort takeoff when a nose wheel fell off and parted ways with the stricken flight.

The wheel “came off and rolled down the hill” as the flight was waiting to begin its journey, according to a report from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Delta confirmed the incident on the plane scheduled to fly from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Bogota, Colombia.

“Delta Flight 982 ATL/BOG was taxiing for departure when a nose gear tire came loose from the landing gear,” Delta said in a statement Wednesday, NBC News reports.

“All customers and their bags were removed from the aircraft, transferred to the gate and onto a replacement aircraft. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”

The plane was put back into service the next day, Delta said.

None of the passengers or six crew members were hurt in the incident, according to the FAA’s preliminary report.

Other articles say that male harassees are rare, but I can think of two female leaders right of the bat that were caught naked with junior enlisted. I can only think of one incident where we caught a man doing something dumb. And another case where a gay soldier was drugging others.

I've reached a point in my life in which I feel pron has made me less respectful of women, like they're just objects, so I'm going to give up watching pron. Pron is difficult to summarize but trust me when I tell you that pron has serious negative consequences on our culture.

So I’ve done a fair bit of research and the logic doesn’t seem to make sense to me.

If I’ve got a rifle with a 20MOA rail and I mount the optic. I can essentially see lower so I get access to more usable range from the scope adjustment I get that. What I don’t understand is how that zero isn’t completely messed up at let’s say 1000yrds.

Because there’s an angle now…. So at 100yrds cross hairs are at the infliction point barrel but at 200 yrds the cross hairs would be below the infliction point and you’d have to adjust up wouldn’t you? I mean no bullet drop is 20MOA at 200 yrds.

This problem is exasperated the farther out your go is it not???

Ok obviously it’s not otherwise it wouldn’t be a thing but I can’t for the life of me understand how my understanding is flawed.
