Not sure what to do, I can't even get to the actual drop truing BC. Adjusting velocity I have to get up to ~1200 fps to align. Have a hard time believing chrono is off by over 100 fps.

I'm looking at building a dedicated hunting rifle on another Tikka Action. The easy button would likely be a 6.5 PRC, but the 7 SAW is intriguing me with some component crossover with my 6.5CM and use of larger 162's for western trips. low recoil etc.

I plan to use a proof blank, but is it possible to take down one of their 7mm blanks to fit the tikka actions with their smaller size?

Newb question, I know, but I've only used Proof prefits for other tikka builds. Not a custom chambered blank.

I remember around 15 years ago, lasers on pistols were a big thing, maybe just a fad.

Has white light replaced lasers on handguns or do I just not hear about them like I once did?

On my SRS A1, factory barrel. Before install, rifle was consistent. I installed 3/4"-24 (female) to 5/8"-24 adapter and SF Warcomp. Now, I am getting fliers every few rounds. The flier can be as much as 1 mil high at 100 yards.

The adapter was torqued to 30 ft/lb and Warcom to 22 ft/lb. I am curious what interaction could be causing the fliers. I also verified that the barrel is torqued correctly to 80"/lb using factory seekonk wrench.
I am curious what could be causing that. Has anyone else had fliers show up after changing muzzle devices?

Trying to decide between the two optics, field of view and eye relief are two major factors in my decision, I wish we had a shop close by so I could try one. Any advise would be great thanks in advance

Why did they fuck up the appliances?

New Greek place opened up locally and the wife talked me into trying it. I rolled my eyes as I was already expecting it to taste like every other generic Greek place, no matter where you go, as they all use the same Sysco garbage.

Normally I have low expectations for food locally anyways as St George must have some sort of law where you can either be a chain or your food has to be the most uninspired overpriced bullshit in order to get a license here. Good food? Oh no, we can't be having that!

Anyways, in we go. My level of interest coming through the door is somewhere around wanting to make a dentist appointment, helping homeless ukrainian children or doing fucking taxes. I'm confused when I walk in as the place is almost full, yet I see absolutely zero staff except 1 or 2 behind the counter in the kitchen area. Upon further review, there really wasn't even a counter area nor was there some sort of hostess or anything. You just kind of walked in and....theres a wall of large iPads.

You order 100% of everything via the very well thought out iPad format. When it comes time to pay via the iPad, it doesn't even try and guilt you into leaving a 20-75% tip. Fuck, there's not even a spot for a tip at all if you even wanted to. This is fantastic!

No counter. Just a large seating area with tables. I sit down and wait but am confused as to how the food comes out as they have literally zero information about me. Some time passes and 1 of the 3 total employees comes out from the back, walks right up to the table and asks who had X and who had Y. I'm guessing they take a photo of you or something.

That was the first, and last human interaction I had there. And it was perfect. The place had 30 tables and 3 total employees. 2 of the 3 were making food. The 1 was helping and running orders. That's it. No bullshit. No wanting a tip from you for walking 13 feet. No nothing.

It was flawless. And the food was actually really good.

If more restaurants can figure out how to do this as opposed to what its turned into over the last 5 years, anyone that doesn't adapt better have the world's greatest whatever, because otherwise, no one wants to deal with your shit.

The other benefit here is that it literally runs on 3 people. I've seen more useless faggots hanging around at the hostess station at restaurants. The system they use kills at a minimum 4 jobs, maybe up to 6. This motivates the 3 humans that actually do work there to do a good fucking job because, well, there's only 3 jobs there and you are replaceable. Fuck off with you whining about how you deserve a 40% tip and get to fucking work you fucking poors.

I have a Faxon 16” RemAge barrel and a McMillian A1-3 stock together so far for an 8.6 Blackout build.
I’ve discovered that a blueprinted and tried 700 action isn’t compatible with RemAge barrels due to the threads.

I’ve looked at a few custom actions, but they all have differences that will require me modifying the stock, that’s already been bedded for a 700 action.

I honestly do not know what the realistic range of this rifle will be. I plan to shoot 300gn .338 projos at 1050fps.

My question is, how much will I be screwing up buying a cheap Remington 700 adl and using the action for this build? Are the actions really off so much between the face of the receiver to cause accuracy issues at range? Is there anything I can do to the receiver to make sure everything is straight without a machine?

Running into a interesting question:
I was measuring all my brasses that fired once in my 6.5cm bolt gun and seeing different headspace vary from 1.555 to 1.560. Out of those 77 brasses, 26 of them are 1.558 and about 15 of them 1.557
My question is
1-which one should I select to adjust my die to push shoulder back by 0.002?

Should I select 1.557 so all the cases become 1.555?

I already measured the c.b.t.o based on sized brass that has 1.558

2- should i do another measurement based on the longest case or shortest case?
