SOLD Pixels On Target VooDoo-S

Brand new pixel on target VooDoo-S.

Wilcox mount
All BII included.

Earned this off a prize table but I would like to pursue a different direction. After seeing one that a vendor had, this is an amazing unit. Can be used as helment mounted with Wilcox mount, stand-alone sight with a reticle, or used as a clip-on (best with red dot and 3x, or a LPVO).

Has cable for ext battery usage and DVR. Ext battery tube can be purchased to hold 2x batteries. IR laser pointer.

Will do $old. shipped (without the 2x CR123 batteries, hazmat reasons).

Payment options and shipping insurance can be discussed.

Only trade would be for a new/high FOM White Phosphor PVS-24LR (M2124) plus cash or new/high FOM white phos PVS-30 plus cash.

Maybe a new Halo-XRF plus cash.

Thanks.

Firearms Steyr SSG 69 .308

$2000 + shipping

I recently inherited the contents of my Dad's long gun safe, which had a bunch of interesting stuff in it, including this Steyr SSG 69 .308. I decided I don't have a good use for it, so I'm hoping to pass it on to someone who would appreciate it. I never saw my Dad shoot a rifle, so it's bound to be very lightly used. He was a bit of a cold war prepper, so he mostly just bought stuff and put it in the safe.

Comes with the original Kahles 6x scope and mount. One magazine. No cracks at all in the original bottom "metal". I've put about 50 rounds through it. The only thing I've noticed about the gun is when there is an expended shell in the chamber, the bolt lift is heavy. Don't know if this is typical for the gun. Otherwise action is very smooth.

Happy to provide more pics or info.

I'm pretty new to the site, but have sold a couple of the other guns on Gunbroker and you can see my reviews their under "DurangoAl". Also, the FFLs in town know me and my guns and can provide a reference.

FFL to FFL only.

Fraud. I've been concerned about the reports of fraud on the gun sites, so I am going to provide some information here in the original post that the buyer can verify if necessary, to prevent someone from posing as me. I speak English as a first language. I live in the Rocky Mountains. I have a big gray beard.

Payment. I will not ask for or accept electronic payment (always seems to be part of the frauds). I will turn the gun over to my FFL prior to you sending payment, which you can verify directly. You can send me a check (will go to an address in CO Rockies), cashiers or personal, but you have to wait 3-4 business days until the check clears for shipping. You pay the actual cost of shipping, and can pay the FFL directly if you like.

Thanks for looking.

Looking to sell my Douglas 18" barrel. 223 Wylde CLE, 1-7 twist, rifle length gas system with .750 block journal, threaded 1/2-28. M4 ramps. SPR contour. I painted it black after install. I did Loctite the extension in but i clean 95% of it off.

This barrel shot extremely well but I want to try out the 6mm arc. There are 297 rounds down the tube according to my records so should be really close to that.

I hate trying to hold onto items like this just to get top dollar for it so its yours for $250 TYD.

It's time I get into 22... Rifle suggestions por favor

Hello Gents,

Long time no talk for me on this forum. I got into hobby of precision shooting about 12 years ago and it started right here. I asked what is the best sniper rifle I could buy, and you can imagine the hate I got lol. I still remember it. After learning a ton about this sport, I had a rifle blueprinted in 30-06 from a Remington 700 chassis and created a sub half moa rifle and learned how to reload my own ammo... That rifle cost me alot of money to build and I don't see ever selling her.

Well that was decade ago. I don't shot her as much anymore unfortunately. She sits in my safe, waiting one day to be replaced by a 6.5mm (which was just starting out back then. .308 was still popular when I got into this hobby).

anyways... I looked into rimfire precision shooting about 10 years ago as well, and it really wasn't that popular. I remember the CZ and the Anschutz was it was fairly still new if I remember it. Now I see rimfire guys shooting 300-500 yards and that's wild to me lol.

I want to purchase a rimfire precision rifle that I can go have fun at 25-100 yards with...

I've kind of narrowed it down to Tika T1X or the Savage MK II. They vary in cost a decent amount (also need new stock, scope etc) so I came here to ask for some advice. I know the group here is pretty good (at least used to be!) and can point me in the right direction. I looked and didn't see any 22nrl stuff near me unless I want to travel 2-3 hours away from my home which is kinda far. so I feel like I will be doing backyard shooting and some local range stuff. Nothing too crazy... so that makes me wonder if I should spend the extra money on a Tika when I won't be doing anything too WILD...

Thoughts?? do I spend the extra money on the Tika, or just get a MK II and put a stock and scope.

oh and it needs to be threaded for my suppressor so I can shoot in backyard :)

Question about Rainer arms

I remember that Rainier arms handed over all the frighting “ghost gun “ sales records to NYC . And I did a quick search but couldn’t find it , didn’t they hand over a bunch of sales record to ATF as well ?

Anyhow has anyone else been getting email bombed by Rainier lately with sales sales notices? I wouldn’t buy anything from them , expect most won’t probably why they are having fire sale prices everyday.

Anyhow am I mistaken on the second scandal or did they just sell out their NY customers?

Gun show find, never seen such a thing

As I was strolling through the local gun show this weekend, checking out some scented candles, deciding on what turquoise jewelry I liked, and shopping through thousands of 2 dollar knives I came across an old man with a table of various wares. He was selling off his “collection” sayin his wife said it was time to part with them as they are old as dirt and don’t need them. He mainly had various older hunting rifles and shotguns, and I discovered this thing. I never heard of it or seen one so I had to get it.

It’s a factory Mauser bolt action…….in 12 guage. Weirdest yet neat little thing

Concerns about SAC CS

I ordered the barrel vice with single bushing. did not realize it doesn't come with the arca base.
got it Friday. emailed them Fri about this...
this morning, I asked them if I could return it new in original condition, I'd pay for the return shipping. and I'd order the full kit.

***
the guy says NO you cannot return based on return policy on our website. he says he has already run it up the chain of command and this is their decision. So I go to the website and read the return policy he was pointing me to.

on their site return policy says :
https://shortactioncustoms.com/returns-and-guarantee/
"Returns on SAC Original products are accepted within 30 days of original purchase date and must be in new unused condition. All orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee."

At this point, he says "I don't care I don't want to talk about this anymore and says - have a nice day" before the hangup.

This is my first order with them and
I am shocked. this guy was rude, un helpful and straight up a dick!
i thought these guys were reputable and not shady like this.

is there another Short action customs ???

I need the vice and it appears to be a great product.
but any future buyers be ware of buying anything from them. If this is how they are going to treat their customers and not stand by their own published policies. Consider the alternatives before buying direct form them.

unbelievable!

7mm Recs?

Hey all, not sure if this is the right place to post it but mods feel free to move it!

I am new to LR shooting! I've been shooting my 6.5 CM for the past two years and I finally am starting to burn out the barrel on my HOWA M1500 Chassis Rifle. I purchased a bore camera for my barrels and I see lots of fire/barrel cracking. I've shot about 2100~ish through the gun, and I've notice when I am going to confirm zero it's always off, I am double sometimes triple checking the wind, weather, and lastly the ammo and I am starting to notice that my groups are getting bigger and bigger at 200yrds. I thought I was doing something wrong, until someone suggested that maybe I have burnt out the barrel life. It is indeed burnt out.

I love my 6.5 CM, and I am not ready to give up on that caliber just yet. I happen to have a spare Tikka T3x in 270 Win. I am looking to get that gun rebarreled to a new 7MM cartridge w/ a 28, maybe 30" barrel. I recently got a good deal for a Savage 110 in 7mm Rem Mag so that will be replacing my 270Win for all my hunting needs, also I am very impressed with the 7mm bullets, lots of high BC 7mm bullets seem to be available. I am also planning to get into reloading, so I am okay with not having any/limited factory ammo support. Here are the cartridges I am currently looking at, these are mostly going to be used for ELR/LR shooting and possibly F-class? I mostly shoot in Canadian Crownlands at distances varying from 200-1200yards, mostly shooting at around 500~ish and up. I am looking to shoot more heavier stuff, (170-190gr Berger bullets). The powder that I can easily get are Hodgdon Varget, H4831SC, H335, H1000, IMR 4350, and 4064.

1) 7mm Remington Short Action Ultra Mag (7 SAUM)
- Lots of F-Class shooters use them, great reputation
- Better suited in longer actions
- Cannot find a single brass source
- Dies seems to be fairly expensive and scare

2) 7mm Sherman Short (7 SS)
- Easy to buy brass & reamers (rentable from Sherman's website)
- Can buy dies from Sherman

3) 7mm-6.5 PRC
- Easy to find 6.5 PRC brass (I'm located in Canada, seems to be easy enough to resize using a resizing mandrel. Feel free to educate me on this)
- Very skeptical on the performance?
- Not a single clue how dies work on these

5) 7mm Sherman Max
- From what I see, it is pretty much a "better" version of a 7 SAUM (Less case trimming due to the angle of the shoulder)
- Plus everything on the 7 SS

4) 7mm PRC ?
- New hot 7mm, haven't found any information on it, thoughts? Specs? How does it compare to the legendary 7 SAUM?

- Hornady seems to be really pushing this from the factory, dies and brass seems that it will be more readily available in the future. However only time will tell
What other cartridges do you guys recommend? Feel free to berate my choices, I am still learning so I'm all ears!

- Cheers!
