Firearms HK 416D Gold Gun

HK 416D CAG

Heckler & Koch 416D Cag 14.5” Clone

Where do I start.. This gun is a sexy beast. It draws the same kind of attention as red Ferrari parked on the side of the street. You just can’t help but stare.. It’s been to the range twice and every time I have people stop and take pictures. Although, not a factory 416, the only real difference is no fun switch and the BCG says “MR”.. Other than that she speaks German. A complete build list Is below and if you do the math this is not a for profit sale, once you factor in tax/shipping/time. The gun speaks for itself. Put simply this isn’t something you can just buy off the shelf. I took me months to piece everything together. This is as close it will get to what the special guys carry.

The gun has an extremely low round count.. somewhere in the 150 range and if you know anything about HK barrels, that is nothing. Cerakote/Tano was from Roman Arms and Barrel cut + pin/weld d. Wilson. Gun is sold as pictured. Rifle/Optic(s)/Sling/HK Case. I am willing to sell the rifle alone without any of the extras.

Optics Blurry - Are My Eyes Going Bad?

I'm noticing lately that when I get behind a rifle with a magnified optic, that after only a minute or two of shooting, everything starts getting blurry. By everything, I mean both the target and the reticle. I'm pretty sure this isn't the fault of the optic, because it doesn't matter if I'm behind a Nightforce, Vortex, or Leupold, everything is fine for the first couple of minutes. But after 5-6 shots, everything gets blurry and I need to close my eyes for a period of time. This period of (recovery?) time seems to be getting longer with each trip to the range.

I'm in my early 40's with 20/20 vision in my right eye as of the last time it was checked (which was probably in my late 30's).

Are my eyes going bad? Is recoil scrambling my vision? This happens with a heavy .223 AR, heavy .308 AR, and a really heavy 6.5CM bolt action.

Can anyone else who may have experienced the same thing describe what's going on here? And more importantly, how to deal with it?

According to Professor ‘How We Eat Our Chicken’ is a Racial Issue

Erika-Abad-600x335.jpg

Erika Abad, a Nevada State College professor and an alumna of DePaul University in Chicago, shares that, in a world where everything is racially motivated, even how we eat our chicken is a racial issue.

Abad suggests that “specific food and specific aromas” are radicalized and that even that different perfumes have racial connotations. Abad states, “All of these smells hint at otherness or assimilation in ways that complement a colorist aesthetic that lends us and prompts us to lean closer to whiteness.”

According to Abad, “how we eat our chicken” and “the level of salt in our food” is racially motivated.

Abad presented the bizarre take during a presentation to DePaul alumni as part of a series called “Perspectives on Racial Justice.”

According to the DePaul Alumni YouTube channel, “Perspectives on Racial Justice is a series that seeks to further DePaul University’s commitment to ending racial injustice on campus and in our community. Presented by the Office of Alumni Relations in partnership with faculty and alumni experts, the series strives to bring awareness to racial inequalities, continue the dialogue on issues of race and ethnicity and support our communities of color.”

Abad said that “colorsim” can be explained through five points, dubbed the “sense(s) of colorism:” sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
On the topic of sight, she referenced hair style and products, arguing that using coconut-based and scented products is about assimilating to “whiteness.”
Then, answering a question posed to her during the live stream, she said that “how [people of color] eat [their] chicken” is also about “whiteness,” but did not explain the details.

DePaul’s Alumni Youtube channel incudes other woke topics including:

Perspectives on Racial Justice: Afro-Latinx Identity & Inclusivity
Perspectives on Racial Justice: Cultural Identity in the Workplace
Perspectives on Racial Justice: Discussing Race with Young People
Perspectives on Racial Justice: Cultural Identity in the Workplace

Erika Abad is the reason our education system needs to be burned to the ground, starting with these fake universities: ‘How we eat our chicken’ is a racial issue according to this professor

FAFO "Slept Through Taser Class" edition.

Well can't excuse the deputy who apparently slept through taser class (you know... there are like 5 questions on the taser test related to "Not Lighting Your Perp on Fire"... It is pretty much drilled in.

On the other hand... being a douche on a dirtbike and fleeing and resisting can result in your being lit on fire, even if accidentally. I mean FAFO "Traeger" edition! Or "FAFO: Cave on Okinawa" edition may be even better.

Dude... you should have just stopped and paid the ticket. Handing over a few bucks is guaranteed less-painful than Debridement treatments. Though I suppose the lawsuit against the department that deployed an incompetent TASER handler may be worth the pain of the burn ward. He'll get a better dirt bike out of this for sure!

SOLD 10/22

I have had this one for awhile, so no idea on exact round count. It is still a very accurate rifle as you can see below. I picked it up the base rifle from a buddy who tried to drill out the back of the receiver for cleaning. He succeeded but it looks awful. It can’t be seen when installed in the stock. Other than aesthetics it hasn’t effected anything. I then did some upgrades.

Bolt is factory Ruger with a Volquartsen exact edge extractor. Clark Custom hammer and trigger (adjustable for over travel). Currently breaks at just under 2.5 pounds. Magpul X22 stock with a Volquartsen aluminum bedding block installed. Stock has other wise been modified to free float. Titan universal cheek rest with 2 spacers included along with sling stud and Magpul polymer rail. Barrel is a Tactical Solutions SB-X with a 16.5” overall length. Barrel is threaded 1/2-28 and weighs approximately 15 ounces. Shroud ID is approximately 1.1” and approximately 4.75” from the shoulder. This allowed my AAC Element 2 to protrude about .5”.

Tactical Solutions 15MOA rail.

Also comes with one 10 round factory magazine.

Scope is a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44 (MOA) with flip caps and Warne 30mm Vapor rings (low). Scope glass is in excellent condition. Polyurethane buffer and factory extended magazine release. Volquartsen automatic bolt release.

Asking $850 shipped to your FFL from an individual. OBO

Targets were shot at 50 yards using SK Standard Plus. One is 5 shots and the other is 10. If you have any questions or would like additional photos, please ask.

2nd time out with a MK20 and I'm getting pierced primers every 2-3 rounds

FN Mk20 in 6.5CM. 2nd time out with it today.

First time we shot about 50 rounds of factory Spark 142g SMK in about the same temperature. I had 1 case with a pierced primer and the rest had some sort of ejector swipe on the Peterson brass but nothing you wouldn't see with a SASS and M118LR.

Good accuracy, consistent hits at 900+, S/D was like 4.

Go out today and after 3 rounds, I get a click when pulling the trigger. Charge it, ejects a live round with no primer strike. Pull trigger again, click. Eject another round with no primer strike.

I pull the gun apart, firing pin looks fine. Reassemble, fires again without a problem. We shoot another 5 rounds and I can smell gas and gunpowder. Check the cases, 3 of the 5 have completely pierced primers. Temp is like 5 degrees from what it was last time, and still in the 50s, so definitely not hot.

Since this is the only ammo I've ever shot with this, I can only assume that this is all ammo related and the ammo is pushing the border of blowing the fucking gun up. On the other hand, WTF factory ammo does this, especially at 50 degrees? I get that its a semi and they generally are a little different from loads for bolt guns, but that is generally for cycling, not almost blowing the gun up. Had I tried this in 90+ degrees, I'm betting we would have had a bad outcome.

Has anyone had an issue with Spark ammo just being like this?

SOLD 300 Norma - Terminus Zeus - Foundation MG2 - Wrecking Ball

Hello, I purchased this 300 Norma from Dyk Rifle & Machine last year thinking I would use it at the Nightforce match in Wyoming. I believe he built 5 or 6 of these for the match. I had him build me one exactly like the one he posted. Here https://www.snipershide.com/shootin...us-zeus-foundation-mg2-wrecking-ball.7115201/

I never ended up making the match so the rifle is brand new never used. Figured I would see if any one would be interested in it. Full disclosure I did notice a couple of black specs on barrels by action real small but wanted to let you know.
