Groups hitting to the right. Trying to figure out what changed.

BCM 5.56 upper. Was hitting PERFECTLY on target a few weeks ago and tonight when I went shooting with same ammunition I was hitting anywhere from 0.25-1.0" right consistently. This has been an issue I've had with 3 different uppers and 4 different optics so it's not my rifle.

The only things that have changed since last range session:

New BCG - but I was going from a mint condition NiB BCG to a mint condition DLC BCG so no change to mass.

Bipod instead of front bag. I'm loading rifle a bit more as a result, but besides that no change to form.

Different seating position (I was at a different range). Cheek weld and trigger discipline remained same.

Considering I've had this behavior with a bunch of different rifles it HAS to be something I'm doing.. but I can't think of it besides going to a bipod and getting a different BCG which shouldn't affect POI.

Also, just to make sure you all understand I don't believe my POI is wandering. Everything on my rifle is torqued to spec.

Sub $450 optic?

So it's black Friday. A family member just asked me for help picking out a scope for her husband. Her budget is $350. I can up that budget to $450, as I know $350 won't go far (I realize that $450 doesn't go far either). The husband has been wanting a FFP 5-25 or 6-24 range. I typically don't follow optics in that budget, hence why I'm asking. Athlon Argos BTR 6-24, and PST Gen 1 6-24 are both in that range. Any others to consider?

Knights PVS30 for ANVIS?

Advice needed.
I currently own a Knights PVS30 with a FOM of 1952. I purchased this thinking that I would use it alot more than I do. I have owned it for just under 4 years and I'm still on my first set of batteries.
I really think I would use a dual tube, WP, set alot more, than my pvs30.

I contacted a local guy who knows a gentleman who owns a night vision company. It's not TNVC or anything like that. He gets in units that need repair, etc. Rebuilds, repairs them and then flips them for a profit. He has been very up front about that.

He has offered me a trade, straight across, for an ASU branded ANVIS that had a broken bridge that he has replaced. They are suppose to be aviation grade tubes and glass. Comes with mount and battery pack, and he says he will warranty them.

Is this a fair trade straight across? I am partially of the mindset that if he has what I want. It's worth it. However, am I cutting myself short in any way? Would I be better off selling what I have and purchasing something else? Are these comparable in value?

I will be honest, I thought I knew about night vision when I used it in the Army for 9 years, then purchased my first PVS14 omni 8 hand select from TNVC, then later the PVS 30....
NOPE, I'm just an end user, I don't know anything other than turn it on and run it.

So what is everyone's advice? Should I make the trade?

Only The Rich Get To Live???

So, this is part of the headlines here, and it makes me curious. Or am I looking 'far to deep into the premise'?

Seeing as they are specifically talking about reducing 'clots'.... and seeing as how the fashionable trend to follow has an incredibly HIGH amount of 'clotting'.... is this a case of (as the title suggests) only the RICH being able to continue living? Will this drug, like 'viagra' all-the-sudden be surprisingly effective on 'other things' that "we just didn't think about that AT ALL...."

Coincidence? Or am I looking far to into the quagmire to see conspiracies where they simply don't exist? Because nobody would do that to anyone else, ever?

Pros and Cons of 33XC vis a vis 338 LM

Hi All,
I currently shoot 338 lapua magnum (300 grain berger out of a 26 inch barrell in an AI AXMC). I am looking to take part in ELR matches and considering an upgrade to 33XC.

However I want to make sure that I dont just get carried away by all the advertised advantages (higher MV) but also understand the problems with this new caliber.

Are there shooters here who have shot both 338 LM as well as 33XC? I am interested in their opinion about advantages and disadvantages of 33xc vis a vis a 338 LM.

Please only add your inputs in case you have used both these calibers and/or you are an active ELR competitor. Grateful for your time and attention.
