Air Cover Continues

In this article, the MSM admits that this is the first time Antifa has been charged with a crime.

These fuckheads torched shit, wrecked cop cars, beat people, fired shots at folks…and this is the first time anyone was charged with anything.

Go figure.

And listen to MSN news just whine and whine and whine about the idea someone caught a charge over it.

Accessories WTS Various Budget AR Uppers

As mentioned, looking to sell a couple uppers with no lowers that I have laying around. I no longer have a use for them as I have a KAC, Geissele, and LMT that are my main squeezes.

1. Colt 16" Complete upper with Geissele MK4 Rail, Radian Raptor charging handle, Surefire 3 Prong Flash hider, and the standard Colt BCG. This particular upper came off of a "FBI" package from colt so it has the Geissele MK4 rail, among the sturdiest MLOK rails still on market. The flash hider has see quite a few rounds, but the upper itself has not. The barrel, chamber, and BCG are immaculate. Additionally, this upper comes with Magpul MBUS Pro sights. $400
2. Aero Precision 16" Semi-Complete Upper with Magpul Foregrip and Aero VG6 Muzzle Brake. This upper has seen a few rounds. Roughly 500 rounds have been put through this, all high quality BlackHills 77gr OTM. Nice lightweight upper that has a very slim MLOK hand guard. Feels good in the hand, decent interior room for mounting accessories. $200
3. Aero Precision 10.5" Complete Upper that was meant as a meme build. It has the Fortis Blast Shield Muzzle Brake on the end, as well as Daniel Defense sights co-witness sights up top. Radian Raptor-SD charging handle and Nickel boron BCG are all included. This upper has seen 20 rounds through it. The "meme" quickly became unfunny and now I have no use for it. Didn't personally buy of this, admittedly. $150 sold to beebeetee

Sidearms & Scatterguns She made it home

Big shout out to Alex at Ten Ring Precision for building this wheelie.

1970s era S&W Hwy Patrolman barrel (unmounted originally), crowned and Magnaport Quad Port. Dovetailed front sight.

Essentially every single internal part was improved/modified, to fix factory mistakes.

The DA trigger pull is just at 5# and smooth as silk while the SA pull is an even 2# and drops when you think about it.

Black Gunkote over stainless, so almost impervious to weather and chemicals.

TK Custom extended cylinder release and TK Target hammer.

8rds of goodness 😁

Magnetospeed Slow Speeds… Thoughts & Ideas?

I am getting some unusual slow speeds and thinking it’s 2 things.

I replaced the battery and got 30fps faster replacing the battery and i recently switched to an amazon 3.5mm cable as a replacement.

I checked back in my logs and it’s progressively dropped. It was at 1090 +\- back in April. I just saw it slowly drop and didn’t think anything of it.

Since it’s rimfire I was at 1033 to replacing the battery to 1063 and thinking I should be and was at around 1090.

I asked Magnetospeed and they said battery has nothing to do with it but could be placement.

Thoughts?

Light weight scope options

I am searching for a light weight scope for a rimfire build. Currently I have a Vortex LHT 4.5-22 on it and with how I have the rifle built the weight & balance is just about perfect for what I want. While the LHT seems to be a fine scope, I wanted to make sure I am not missing any other similar scopes. I need this scope to:
-track 100% (so far the LHT is, even though there have been grumbling of them not)
-correct parallax down to min 25-30 yards
-weigh well under 30oz (otherwise I know what scopes to choose from)
-mil / mil reticle and turrets
-better turret feel than the LHT (which sucks)
-max magnification up at or over 20X, I don’t need super low magnification 5X is fine
-the best optical quality I can get, specifically resolution, I do not get in a fuss about colors or having the brightest scope possible as long as it doe not limit my ability to put my round where I want it
-price isn’t really a concern as long as it is justified

Right now I am really only seeing the March Compact series, but I haven’t ever had an opportunity to check them out.
I appreciate any suggestions

Best time going through airport security in 21 years.

So there I was (BWI 4am Monday morning), lining up for the security check point, after using the kiosk to print my boarding passes and check my bag.

They put the strap thing up to stop twenty of us from proceeding to the metal detectors and x-ray machine for carry-on bags. The rent a cop says, we're going to put you through another process, and let the K9 screen you, as long as you get through that without a K9 alert, you don't have to take anything (laptop) out of your carry-on, don't need to take off your shoes, no need to remove your hat, or jacket, you'll just go right though.

So, the twenty of us stand there for about 10 minutes, give or take, then they line us up double file, we walk the gauntlet as the K9 does figure 8's around us, and we get right though. The 10 minutes of standing in the cattle line was well worth it, took maybe 15 minutes total for all of us to get though...nobody scrambling around looking for a shoe, or trying to put them on while you're trying to get your bag off the conveyor belt.

Lets have more of this! Anyone else done this?

Firearms 300 Win Mag Sendero SFII $1250

Screenshot_20220920-094813_Photos.jpg

Rem 700 Sendero SFII 300 Win Mag
Bedded by previous owner McMillan Game Scout (fiberglass) in McWoody w/adj LOP kit M5 DBM, 1 mag included.
Ext bolt knob, Weaver brand rail(if memory is correct)

Also have a brand new Factory Sendero SFII stock from a different 7 RM if preferred

Bought a few years ago here on the forum in case a 300 PRC didn't make it to me in time for a hunt, which it did. Unsure on round count, I believe previous owner said 300ish but would have to try and find conversation.

Have brass from previous owner also, 200ish pieces I believe.

Never fired by me, these generally shot very well though. Just need to free up some safe space.

24 Attorneys General Sign Letter Warning Visa to Drop Plans for Tracking Gun Sales

Twenty-four Republican attorneys general sent a letter to Visa, Mastercard, and American Express Tuesday warning them to drop plans to code and compile gun sales in America.

Breitbart News reported that the credit card companies were under pressure from New York Democrats — including New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) — to recategorize gun sales so they could be flagged.

On September 10, 2022, Visa caved to Democrat pressure and agreed to recategorize gun sales, giving them a special code so they would stand out from other sporting goods or general merchandise purchases.

Mastercard and American Express capitulated to Democrat demands as well.

In a letter dated September 20, 2022, and addressed to the CEOs of Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, 24 attorneys general said in part:

The new code will not protect public safety. Categorizing the constitutionally protected right to purchase firearms unfairly singles out law-abiding merchants and consumers alike. First, efforts to track and monitor sales at gun stores would only result in vague and misleading information. This categorization would not recognize the difference, for example, between the purchase of a gun safe and a firearm. Nor would it capture firearm purchases made at department stores, resulting in arbitrarily disparate treatment of “gun store” merchants and consumers.
More importantly, purposefully tracking this information can only result in its misuse, either unintentional or deliberate. Creating and tracking this data only matters if your institutions are considering using that information to take further, harmful action—like infringing upon consumer privacy, inhibiting constitutionally protected purchases by selectively restricting the use of your payment systems, or otherwise withholding your financial services from targeted “disfavored” merchants.

They closed the letter with these two paragraphs:
Social policy should be debated and determined within our political institutions. Americans are tired of seeing corporate leverage used to advance political goals that cannot muster basic democratic support. The Second Amendment is a fundamental right, but it’s also a fundamental American value. Our financial institutions should stop lending their market power to those who wish to attack that value.
Be advised that we will marshal the full scope of our lawful authority to protect our citizens and consumers from unlawful attempts to undermine their constitutional rights. Please keep that in mind as you consider whether to proceed with adopting and implementing this Merchant Category Code.

Colt 1911 identification help?

My buddy’s brother passed away and he asked me to help find some info/pricing on this 1911 for him. He told me …..

He was CO of his reserve unit during Vietnam era. I thought he said it was his service pistol? That’s all I know.

I can take more photos if needed. Thank you

Major 2A Legal Win Today

Long story short this is the start of the end for things like Red Flag Laws.

Summary: Some guy tried to buy a .22LR pistol and on the 4473 it asked if he was under indictment blah blah blah. He checked no and eventually got his pistol. As far as I know he was never convicted of ANY of the original stuff the government said he did. BUT they tried to put him on trial for violation of Federal gun laws by attempting to purchase (and actually purchasing) a .22LR pistol while he was technically under indictment.

Judge today ruled that ENTIRE scheme as unconstitutional because you cannot be denied Constitutional Rights based on an indictment only.
