I can't get the gun to run without jamming with any combination of the above barrels and ammo. TMT won't help. KKM won't help. Not sure what to try next. Any ideas? Any good gunsmiths around Montana that can get this thing to run?

It mostly fails to feed. Sometimes it doesn't fully go into battery. The brass is also scraping on the slide ejection port and shaving a good bit off and sometimes with the hotter loads it will actually deform the brass - see pics below.

I’ve got this Schmidt and bender pmii scope on a gun of mine. It is a 3-12x50 with a reticle that has a illuminated cross in the middle that is floating with mil dots and hash marks in the reticle but no ranging lines on the bottom like what is in a p4. I’m looking for any info such as when this scope was offered, what kind of reticle it is, and why the Illumination knob is on the left turret and not the more prolific model rheostat. It also has an angle cosine indicator and another device that I have no idea what it is? Thanks!!!!

I usually go to the range and bellyflop down on the deck, get real comfy and then shoot 50-150 rounds.

This despite being an active PRS / practical rifleman for the last 12 years. I haven't really trained that much/gone training that much,
I usually focus on shooting, not training.

A couple other threads on here inspired me to do something about it.

So this is what I did:

I went to the range and TRAINED. Pulled out the tank trap and another obstacle and built a position atleast 30-50 times before firing a single shot.

I actually learned a lot from just fiddling with this on my own and focusing on the basics.

I also managed to drop my AW of a prop and straight on to the deck, hard. Had to laugh at that one. It's an AW so ofcouse it didnt matter. It didnt effect POI at all.

Here's a couple of images and a few boring videoes. At the very end of one of them (the shortest one) you'll see me drop the AW and laugh it off. It's just a boring video of me practising.

I fired a whopping 14 rounds(!) that session, and I got more out of it than several earlier rangetrips combined. Feelsgoodman. Can recommend.

Started out by centerpunching 420 yards (8"), 500 (12") yards and 600 (16") yards. Moved on to dryfire/working props. Did 5 rounds from the tanktrap at 420 yards.
Then punched the 420 yard gong and a 700 yard gong, packed up and left.

Looking for a set of 34mm scope rings that are lower than most on the market. Looking in the neighborhood of .7-.8 inches of ring height. Lowest I've been able to find is a .92" from Seekins.

Does such an animal exist? If so, point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated. Huge bonus points if they are QD capable.

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) asked Sturm, Ruger, & Co. to pledge not to sell ammunition that pierces body armor, to which Ruger CEO Christopher Killoy responded that Ruger is not involved in ammunition sales.

The exchange between Krishnamoorthi and Killoy occurred during the Committee on Oversight and Reform’s Wednesday hearing on “practices and profits of gun manufacturers.”
Krishnamoorthi used his time to question witnesses on a variety of issues, the last of which was police officer safety. He asked Daniel Defense CEO Marty Daniel to commit to “not sell a weapon that tears through bulletproof vests” and then moved to the next witness when Daniel talked about his company’s commitment to self-defense.
Krishnamoorthi addressed Killoy, saying, “ assume you won’t sell a weapon that tears through bulletproof vests, will you?”
Killoy responded, “Congressman, with all due respect, the ability to pierce body armor typically relates to the ammunition, not the firearm.”
Krishnamoorthi shot back, “So you will not sell that ammunition either, will you?”
