IMHO and as the title suggests, the age to even Register to vote should be equal to or higher than the age to buy guns.

I'm AGAINST raising the minimum age for gun purchases to 21 Y.O.

Prior to 1970 the minimum age to vote in America was 21 years of age. Personally, I think the minimum age to Register to vote should be 29, with all the following requirements: being Natural Born of Natural Born parents, birth certificate, photo and fingerprints, property ownership, no warrants/outstanding fines or taxes, with a Red Flag law for voters.

Voter rolls to be cleared every year. No drop boxes. No absentee ballots except for Military. Voter ID, fingerprints and photos taken at every ballot casting.

A single vote can cause the ruin of a country, but one gun can't- so it's CLEAR votes are more dangerous than guns.

It's time for real change.

I have played AR/AK type rifles for years. I want to get my first bolt action rifle in 6.5 CM for long range. After extensive research for months, Bergara B14 HMR looks like a great entry level option under $1000. But I came cross one very negative review on Bergara's bolt. It is alarming. Posted by "Grimstod Desh" on youtube. The title is "Why Bergara Rifle bolts are BAD". I have the following questions for the experienced Bergara HMR users or Chad from Bergara if he sees this post.

1. Bolt disassembly: In Bergara's video from 5 years ago, the procedure is to put a punch through the slot to hold the firing pin, then rotate it for disassembly. In "Grimstod Desh" video, he said the bolt design was changed and you can't do as what is in Bergara's video. It is very difficult to disassemble the B14 HMR's bolt. Who is right? Any updated video on B14 HMR bolt disassembly on yourtube?

2. Is the bolt shroud still a cast part?

3. Does Bergara's bolt needs a bushing to shoot the 6.5 CM ammo with a small diameter primer?

4. Does Bergara's rifle need to be cleaned after each shooting session (within 24 hrs) to prevent rust?

The bill, named after Parkland, Florida, shooting victims Luke Hoyer and Alex Schachter, would require the Department of Homeland Security to establish a "Federal Clearinghouse on School Safety Best Practices" for use by state and local educational and law-enforcement agencies, institutions of higher education, health professionals, and the public. And it would require DHS to "collect clearinghouse data analytics, user feedback on the implementation of best practices and recommendations identified by the clearinghouse, and any evaluations conducted on these best practices and recommendations."

The clearinghouse, which is already available at SchoolSafety.gov, would be codified into law with the bill’s passage.

Schumer objected to Johnson’s request, claiming on Twitter that the bill "could see more guns in schools."

"The truth: There were officers at the school in Texas," Schumer tweeted. "The shooter got past them. We need real solutions—We will vote on gun legislation starting with the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act."

Bartlein barrel chambered and finished by CLE. 16" mid gas 1:7 twist in 223 wylde. Has SF MB, Superlative Arms adj bleed off gas block, bolt head spaced and matched by CLE with colt C marked carrier, Vltor MUR upper, SLR HG, and Geissele Airborne CH.

Lower:
Matrix Aerospace Corp lower [with M16 sear shelf], Geissele LPK, Geissele SSA-E FCG, Geissele buffer tube kit with H1, B5 grip, Magpul ACS stock.

Gun was professionally cerakoted by Redline Victory.
Gun has about 500rds through it.
CLE's break in procedure was followed to a T. Bore guide has always been used when cleaning.

Scope, scope mount, QD sling mount, barrier stop, and mlok short pic rail section pictured are not included.

Gun shoots as good as .5MOA with 77gr black hills SMK's and shoots just under 1 MOA with 77gr IMI. That's with me shooting, you may do even better.
I've shot this gun out to 800yds making consistent hits on 16" targets from barriers.

It's an impressive setup but my 6.5G now covers all the same bases. Save yourself the 6+ month wait on a Bartlein.

28 inch kreiger 6br spun up by keystone accuracy for a big horn origin has 475 rounds on it 30 grains of varget with a 107 smk 350 fnf or add 3.5% for fees.

My favorite gun range is out in the country, steel targets and obstacles if you want to use them, had its first serious injury. The guy was using a sbr and extended his finger out and was on the side of the flash hider when he pulled the trigger, just filleted the finger half way down took everything but bone.
