SOLD FS: Manners EH1 Gen2 Mini Chassis - BA IS SOLD

SPF- BA and stock are now sold

Selling my 6CM. I will happily split up the barreled action, but will likely hold off parting out until the barreled action is sold. Has been great, just ready to tinker with something new.

Specs:
Action: Big Horn Origin SA - 20MOA rail - with extra bolt handle
Barrel: 22" Proof Sendero 6CM 7.5 twist
Trigger: TriggerTech Special, single stage

I have about 450 rounds through both the action and barrel. It shoots easily sub half minute with Berger 105 Targets, going about 3100fps, suppressed. I shot it almost exclusively with the suppressor. I will include the brass, which has only been fired in this gun and has some loaded rounds left. Peterson SRP 6CM brass with 4 firings. Has always been annealed between firings. Does not include hellfire adapter.

Price for barreled action: $1250 TYD (without trigger, but will include brass/loaded ammo if you want it)

Stock is a Manners EH1 with Gen2 mini chassis and an Area 419 rail. I did have a Kelby barreled action in this stock for a short time so the bolt release button is carved out some. The barrel channel is relieved out to a MS2 contour.

Price for whole gun: $2300 TYD with trigger, brass, and loaded up ammo if you want it.

Does not include scope or rings. If someone really wanted the scope with it, I'd need to get all my money back out of that.

R.I.P Marcus Wynne

Don't think this has been posted here; just noting it as a I'm guessing some of you knew him / knew of him.

Marcus is a veteran of the US Army’s 82d Airborne and the United Nations Command Joint Security Force (Republic of South Korea) and served as an Airborne Infantry Battalion Training Sergeant, infantry Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Leader (1977-1984). He also served in federal law enforcement as a Federal Air Marshal, FAM Team Leader and lead FAM firearms instructor during the First Gulf War. He served in a variety of undercover counter-terror positions in over 100 countries.

"Match Grade"

Exactly what is "match grade?" What, if any, industry standards exist? I'm on a quest...Over the last 20 years I have put my money into many products which have the term "match" incorporated in the nomenclature. Many of these products have been a miserable disappointment. I'm asking because, as I start digging, I'm finding manufacturers have arbitrary standards. Minute of Angle accuracy is one of the best claims to print on a box yet, no standard for how that claim is derived. My quest? Truth in labeling and advertising!! I am all for allowing such claims but, the methodology should be included. Yes, that could lead to merch not leaving the shelf, it could also lead to better product on the shelf. I'm curious about others" opinions. I would enjoy a factory rep point of view.

Trigger for REM 700

I’m looking for a new trigger for my do all REM 700 .308. This started life as an LTR in an LE role. Now it’s a hunting/range plinker. I have it down to two triggers, Timney Elite Hunter and Trigger Tech Primary. Pull weight will hover around 3 pounds, give or take a few ounces. My top priority is reliability over feel/crispness. I have some experience with the Timney 510, nothing with the Trigger Tech. As a note, I just read the entire Trigger Tech thread by Orkan, before reading this I wanted a TT, now I’m not sure. Just looking for some insight from anyone that has experience with both. Thanks!

New member and first time seller advice

I have been a long time lurker to this site for many years and finally joined the other day because I would like to try and sell a scope and rifle I have in order to fund a new “toy”. I know I need to be a supporter to post something for sale, so that will come. However, I am looking for any advice on what I can do as a seller to ease the minds of a potential buyer, particularly since I am a new member with zero credibility on this site. Just looking for a streamlined transaction where myself and the buyer will be comfortable. Thanks for any advice! Semper Fi.

(Not sure the best location for this thread so I figured the bear pit would be the best place according to the rules and regs)

6 DASHER pierced primers AND no case expansion

Hey gang,

Last year I took the short action out of a 110 Tactical that had bought brand new a couple years earlier in 6 Creedmoor and used it to build a rifle in 6 Dasher using a Shilen barrel from Northland Shooters. The load develpment process went horribly as I kept having primer piecrings all the way from 31.4 of Varget (a very common load) until I got down to 29 grains! And no, I wasn't having any piercings while using the same action in the stock 6 Creedmoor right up until I retired it to build the 6 Dasher. I have re-checked with the go/no go gauges thinking maybe I got something wrong there, but all is fine. A guy at the range I go to who has built many rifles using Savage actions immediately assumed that the bolt probably needed a bushing but upon examining conclued that all looks great. I read somewhere that the problem could be the wrong type of firing pin because the 6 Creedmoor uses large rifle primers but the 6 Dasher uses small rifle primers, but I can't get any confirmation on this. The rifle actually shoots amaingly well even with the reduced load but obviously velocity has been compromised. Furthermore, there's another problem that I just can't comprehend. I bought 200 pieces of Peterson brass which I am now on my fourth reloading of. I use a full length RCBS bushing die and yet to have anything but the necks sized by the die. What I mean is, the cases are not expanding to the point where the full length sizing die actually has to resize the case AT ALL. I also built a 7 SAUM at the same time and it works perfectly so it's not like I'm a complete moron. lol. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
