So I think, "Ok, I'll be a sweet little fellow." A couple weeks later somebody had a nice pistol posted and I complimented it with a free bump. I get another warning:

"Dont post on other peoples for sale unless you're buying it". Really? You cant even compliment someone gun? So I just didnt visit that site for a month.

I have a Tikka T3x 223 Varmint and the barrel is about shot out. Have it in a CTR stock with AICS DBM.

Want to keep the 223 bolt face and get a pre-fit barrel for it. Not sure what caliber though. This is a pure fun gun, was thinking about a 300Blk dedicated subsonic. I have plenty of .30 suppressors and a Silencerco Hybrid .46 if I want to go bigger. Any other good subsonic options staying with the 223 bolt face? 223-338, 350 legend, something else?

Help me plan a fun gun. I reload, dont mind forming wildcat brass, restrictions are:
223 bolt face, AICS SA mag, pre-fit barrel and subsonic suppressed.

I shot my MS bayonet last month, just in time to put in a pre-order Xero. I decided for now I can stick with a MS and rail that I picked up cheap to use until the Garmin came in. Hopefully I don't shoot this bayonet...

I was watching the movie Killer on Netflix, I love movies about spys and assasines (how cool would it be to have dozens of passports sneaking all over the world like Jason Boirne? lol) anyway in the opening scene he uses the Nemesis Arms Vanquish and he was shooting subsonic .308 rounds (it was a David Fincer movie so the actor narrates during the movie like in Fight Club, Se7en, Gone Girl, etc. so he actually explains that he is shooting subsonic rounds and that he does not have to worry about bullet drop at that distance) the target is across the street about 100 yards away and he is shooting thru glass (which he also says is not bulletproof just normal vintage glass from the 1970s).....oh and the target is about 15 feet past the glass

So here is my question....(just for fun, not looking to train any future Oswalds) would you use that rifle? ammo?

If you need to breakdown a rifle quickly wouldn't a folding stock be easier than removing a barrel? I was thinking something like the Q Fix 8.6 w a QD suppressor would be a much better choice. What do u think?

Got the Eotech on it, which some folks consider a big clunky antique, but I love it. Yes, U have to turn it on, it's big, short on battery life, but no worrying the image dancing around while UR trying to save UR life, the circle is just natural 4 me and just so quick w/acquisition.

Of course out in the country it's my rifles w/a scope on one, and the Aimpoint on the other.

Long time reader and first time poster.

I have decided to get a custom rifle built and after talking to the guy that’s going to do it he said it’s entirely up to me if I want to go short or long action on the 300wsm. I do reload and plan to do full load development for my rifle.

The rifle will be mostly used for hunting but also used on the bench for fun here and there.
As of right now I’m leaning towards a 20 inch 1-10 twist carbon proof research barrel, custom lightweight Remington clone action, carbon stock, trigger tech diamond, and it’ll have a vx5hd on it. I will be putting my can on it as well.

So, what would you do? Would you go long action and not worry about bullet length ever or go short action and stuff big bullets into the powder?

Ok guys, what is the secret? Handshake? Special John Wick coin? Talked to one fell at Bartlein, had to get one question's he had answered, called back, (took 3 days to get them to answer, for the next guy to tell me "have a gunsmith order it". Schneider does not answer their phone either. There has got to be a better way? IS there someone out there that can build a great custom barrel?

If you happened to be in the DC area at some point around the Jan 6 "event" if you didn't know the Air Marshalls are tracking you via the "Quiet Skies" program. You didn't even need to be physically at the Capitol during that time. You might have been visiting the area for any reason.

Some people are/have been aware due to increased screening at times prior to boarding. Pretty comforting to know you are flying with your own GOV security.

LaShawn Craig, 45, a train operator for the NYC subway, Army veteran with multiple deployments and a landlord renting out his Brooklyn brownstone house returned home to find that an extremely agitated and violent previous tenant, an ex convict named Timothy Jones who has a history of violent incidents, had broken into his section of the house and immediately started threatening Craig upon being confronted. When Jones pulled a pistol-like object out of his pocket during the verbal exchange, Craig drew an unlicensed .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun and fired several shots, fatally striking Jones in the torso. The pistol-like weapon which Jones had brandished was later found to be a Taser by the police. After shooting Jones, Craig called 911 and gave responding officers his gun. Homicide charges were not filed as the case was already ruled a justified defensive shooting, but Craig, who has no prior criminal history, is now several facing charges of weapon possession and carrying an unlicensed handgun.

The MTA has also made a statement that Craig has been put on suspension after this incident. A judge, citing the nature of this shooting and the fact that Craig is an upstanding citizen with no criminal record, placed him on supervised release with no bail while a date is being issued for his next court appearance over the gun charges.

If LaShawn Craig wants to, considering that even his employer, NYC Transit, had thrown him under the bus instead of supporting him, he and his legal defense CAN go all in during the upcoming trials and challenge NYC's unreasonable restrictions on gun ownership and probably even overturn the antigun bullshit which had victimized the residents of the city for over a century, a Mike Tyson haymaker straight to the jaw of the entities that are trying to railroad him, puns absolutely intended.

Former troops are suing the U.S. government for lost pay and benefits due to the Biden administration’s military vaccine mandate, one of the lawyers who successfully brought down the Anthrax vaccine told Breitbart News.


Attorney Dale Saran, a retired Marine, and fellow attorneys Andy Meyer and Brandon Johnson are representing the former troops in three separate lawsuits they plan to turn into a class action lawsuit on behalf of all service members who were either kicked out or illegally ordered to stop drilling, resulting in loss of pay.


Saran said the amount is in the “billions.”


“It’s worth billions. That’s just flat-out. That’s what it is in backpay. It’s billions of dollars,” he said.


The lawsuits were filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, which Saran said is a specialized court where illegal discharges are heard.


“The Court of Claims has been around since the Reconstruction Era. It’s a very old court and kind of a weird one. But in any event, you can go there if you’ve got a claim and say, ‘Hey, I was illegally discharged, or the military did something to impede my pay,’ or whatever. Saran estimates there are 80,000 to 100,000 service members — both active-duty and reservists — who were impacted by the mandate. While more than 8,000 active-duty troops were kicked out, tens of thousands of reservists were told not to drill anymore or were moved to inactive status, he said.
