What throating reamers should I buy?

This year I have purchased lathe, tooling, and reamers from Manson. I had the reamers ground 0 free bore, because I want to control the amount of free bore. I know it is another step, and that is fine.

Right now, I need 7mm and 30 cal. Eventually I will need all calibers from .224" to .338".

Price is not really a concern, I am more concerned with buying the best tooling, for years of service to come.

Is breaking in an AR barrel really worth it? What is your process with a new barrel?

Since the other thread about bedding went so well I want to put together another video. What process do you do for your new barrels and do you do this for ALL of your barrels or just long range ones?

Can someone tell me who this gentleman is and what company he might be connected with?

SOLD Glock 43 9mm w/extras - Now $400 - Need deal today!

Selling my Glock 43 to fund Christmas (lovely time of year lol). Obviously chambered in 9mm, it comes with one 6+2rd mag, seen in the pics. Front green fiber sight and plain steel rear sight. TLR6 light/laser attached. No internal mods. Shot very little. Comes with the pictured INCOG IWB holster. Will also come with its original Glock hard case.

If you priced all of this individually, you'd see how good of a deal I am offering (as I always do on here. I'm a firm believer of paying it forward!)

Wanting to sell the entire package for $540 $400, shipped to your FFL. Payment via PP F&F (no comments) or Cashapp.

Let me help you get into a perfect carry pistol while you help me buy Christmas! (Cheesy sales pitch, I know. At least it's true haha.)

Suppressors As if we needed another reason to love Otter Creek...

LOL @AndrewKing :ROFLMAO:

I have to also say I hate this mounting system. In my opinion and based on what we have seen over the last year of testing, it’s just not very good. I think buying this mount is a poor decision. Not because the HUB mounts are bad but because the mounting system and muzzle devices they’re designed around is bad. You can only polish a turd so much. I think it would be a better use of your time and money to invest in a different mounting system. But as I’ve said before it’s my job to make what people want and that doesn’t necessarily always line up with what I like or what I think is best. It’s long, it’s heavy, it’s expensive, it’ll carbon lock but hey at least you can use the same muzzle device that the military uses for when you’re knee deep in the shit in your boogerloo fantasies or whatever. So here you go, you’re welcome.

Watch for a shooting enthusiast...suggestions?

My Suunto Core watch seems to be giving up the ghost.

I'm not even sure what the features might be for a watch suited for shooting enthusiasts. I shoot a little bit of everything...handgun, shotgun, rifle. I'm guessing that a watch that helped with long range precision shooting might be a possibility. Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions and rationale for a watch that might be a tool to be used by a shooting enthusiast?

What about RFK assassins and cover up?

Here is junior talking about who really killed his father - it’s a multi part interview this I believe is segment #7

So JFK official story and investigation is full of holes and questions figured we should look at his brother’s killing as well. Also full of holes lies and various players .
I did not know until I watched this that the fatal shots at the ambassador hotel struck Kennedy from behind and were fired at co tact distance.

SOLD GAP 6GT - unfired - Impact 737r + Bartlein + MCS

Had this built and it has never seen a live round and truthfully don't see me shooting it any time soon so if someone else can make use of it, I'm happy to free up some space in my life.

Impact Precision 737R
Timney IMPACT trigger
Bartlein 6mm - 1-7 twist finished to 26" - Heavy Varmint
A419 brake
MCS -PRS-TCS ( bought used so there are some handling marks but nothing bad )

Sent barrel and action to GAP and had them install, thread and add trigger. It has sat in the safe ever since.

Asking $ 3500 plus shipping to your FFL

Not looking for any trades. Would be willing to split the barreled action from the stock for $ 2500

Have several magazines and some components ( brass & A-Tips ) available too. Will list those separately if the buyer isn't interested in them.

When does Retumbo surpass H1000

I have both powders on my shelf for 300 Win Mag...

Never have tried Retumbo but I've used H1000. I don't recall ever seeing load data for pills under 200 gr for Retumbo in 300 WM... So that's something of a clue to me, it's a bit too slow for sub 200 gr pills. I also realize it will probably work but may be suboptimal.

At what bullet weight would I be better off trying Retumbo over H1000 in 300 WM?

And I realize every rifle and component combo is unique as to what works... I guess I'm asking in general.

No particular reason for this query. Just something I've wondered about for a while and used a caliber and bullets I'm familiar with to set the parameters.

Mike

SOLD SOLD

Lightly used, put this together, but I'm getting out of competition shooting. There are very light scratches on the stock barely noticeable in some areas especially in the shadow or indoors, can only be seen primarily outdoors (thus outdoor pics b/c I don't hide anything).
Component list:
-Impact 737 action SA 308 BF $1430 New
-Foundation MG2 Dark Distressed inlet for 737R (took a bunch of pics so you can try to see the actual color it looks very nice in person IMO) w/ Hawkins DBM foundation full length rail: $1608 total on foundation stocks right now.
-Stuteville 6BRA barrel 26" 1:7.5, 274 neck, 270 rounds exactly, 5/8-24 muzzle threads, Countour I believe is M24/MTU, measures 1.200 shank end (this is M24) but muzzle end is .930 (which is MTU), Bartlein blank I'm quite sure but Stuteville doesn't always say. Load: 31.2gr Varget, Berger 105 hybrid, 2932 fps SD 3.03, ES 4, NO pressures signs at all. Shoots .226-.268 MOA groups per my records. $875 on impacts website
-Triggertech Diamond $315 MSRP (no one pays this lets be real)
-APA Gen 3 little bastard nitrided $137 on sale right now on APAs website
-Bronze weight kit #22 (used caulk to easily remove): $110

So basically put together this is $4525 (w/o any shipping costs which ALL of these guys above charge) So your easily looking at $4650 shipped if you were to buy this from the above shops after shipping.

Update: Foundation sold… along with dbm weights and rail.

-For now the barreled action w/ muzzle brake and TT diamond MUST stay together: $OLD shipped insured
-6BRA stuteville barrel MUST go first: $OLD shipped
-Impact 737 Action (low round count 270 this is my backup action from competition days): $OLD shipped
-APA muzzle brake genIII (only 270 rounds on it): $OLD shipped
-Triggertech Diamond $235 shipped

-The Foundation Stock, Hawkins DBM, weight kit, foundation rail must also stay together: $OLD shipped insured

If you buy the entire setup I will ship things separately (i.e. barreled action to your FFL and rest to you directly).

Payment we can talk about but I got stellar feedback and known for being critical w/ any cosmetic imperfections. I'm older but not blind.... yet.

2A NEWS: Holton Township of Muskegon County MI votes and ratifies 2nd Amendment Sanctuary status. Also drafts Militia proposition.

Welcome aboard Holton Township, of Muskegon County Michigan, to the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary network:

2023.11.16-02.04-themidwesterner-655578b5dd9b7.jpg

MORE:

----------
----------
Similar to Livingston County, which last April passed a resolution naming it what’s been dubbed a Second Amendment Sanctuary, Holton’s resolution declares the township will not enforce red-flag laws restricting gun and ammunition possession.

“Whereas, the Holton Township Board declares and confirms to express its intent to stand as a Sanctuary Township for Second Amendment rights, and to oppose, within the limits of the Constitution of the United States and the Commonwealth of Michigan, any efforts to unconstitutionally restrict such rights,” the resolution reads.

The board’s resolution also included an addendum to form a militia.

The Militia Public Security Act states the township is adopting “policies necessary for the security and rights of Holton Township residents.”

Legal residents of Holton Township with primary residency in the township are eligible to join the militia and may make their intentions known by acknowledging their intent on social media, explicitly telling friends or family members they wish to join, or stating their intent by letter to the Township Militia.

Several restrictions are explicitly stated in the addendum, including:

Candidates must be over the age of 18.

Candidates must pass a federal firearms background check.

Resident not desiring to be in the militia are not required to join.
